Greatest Trade Ever!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure if anyone heard about, but yesterday the Blues traded D Chris Pronger to the Oilers for D Eric Brewer, D Doug Lynch, and D Jeff Woywitka. Then the Oilers signed Pronger to a 5 year, $31.25 million deal. Possible the best trade in oilers history, as they gave up a very inconsistent defenceman and two prospects for one of the best defenceman in the NHL today. What do you guys think about the trade?

There is nothing wronger than Chris Pronger in my view. I have always thought he has been overrated but I suppose they didn’t give up much for him.

*By the way I know wronger isn’t a word, but it works for me…

I think that the trade was good for the Oilers, but David's is better depending on the size of the bag of barbecue chips.

OK, what about the Eagles getting a 2nd round pick for A.J. Feeley. Sorry, but that is a better trade.

Thanks to this topic I went on NHL.com, and then found out that Calgary managed to get Tony Amonte. That in my mind is a much better pick up than Pronger. (Since I kind of really dislike Pronger, hate the Oilers and am a Calgary fan)

This is a great trade for Edmonton. The only real knock on Pronger is his injury history. But when he's healthy, who other than Nicklas Lidstrom, is consistently better than him?
