Bibby, go spam somewhere else. This is probably the best section of DC Forums because morons don't come in here and post. I just posted my greatest trade ever. So, chill out, dude.

It is annoying. It would be different if it has anything to do with hockey, but it doesn't.

The deal was excellent for Edmonton. I mean, they get a former Norris and Hart winner who is an elite player not only at his position but in general and they give up a guy who has a lot of talent didn't live up to it. Good deal for the Oil

I actually love hockey, I watch it all the time and you didn't say anything about him not being heathly. When he is healthy Pronger is one of if not the most dominant Defenceman in the League and IMO none of those guys you said except Scott are better than him when he is healthy. Especially not Blake, who is getting old, and Rafalski, who is very one-dimensional (eg. he is all offense and no defense)

Defence isn't a position. what is Pronger then? Bstn was harping on how Canadians spell it "defence" while Americans spell it "defense."

Irk, if you can say with a straight face that Brian Rafalski is better than Chris Pronger then you need to focus on another sport. Niedermayer is finally where he should be and Blake is still up there as well. But Brian Rafalski is not better than Chris Pronger. Also, how do you not have Nicklas Lidstrom on that list?

Chris Pronger can't even play an entire season without getting hurt for 25% of it.
Brian Rafalski is a very very underrated defenseman, who is much younger than Pronger as well.
Blake is old, but so is Pronger. Pronger used to be one of the best defenseman in the league, but he's been going down hill the past few seasons.
I'd take Rafalski, Jay Bouwmeester, Nick Boynton, and a few other young guys before I took Pronger.

Rafalski also does not have the injury problems Pronger does, which will inturn most likely force Pronger out of the game at a younger age.

Rafalski also didn't start his career until he was 27 or 28, where as Pronger has been a regular since he was 18.

And Boynton is a solid, young d-man, but I think i'd take Philly's Joni Pitkanen over him
