In quebec we have a thing called "mise au jeu" you bet what you want (minimum 2$) and take at least 3 teams, depending on how the spread his you win more: example : detroit (1.60) vs carolina (2.50) if detroit win you win 1.60 your bet i took one for tonight: Philadelphie Detroit Vancouver Phoenix... i put 2$ and i can win 30$ go me !!!  |

I bet a lot on football. I would love to do it with hockey but there are not many people around here who would bet on hockey.

i always bet on football but i always lose :S cuz in football here you have to take like per example:
Colts vs Texans +15.5
the colts have to win and beat the texans by 16 pts
i take 5 teams and put 5$ , i can win 75$ but theres always one crappy team who dont do cover their spread...

I tried the bookie thing for a while, last year, but a kid a year older than me got busted, and just like that, the kid got sent off to Juvi.
Kinda lost my interest after that, but it was a hell of a way to make cash

being a bookie at school is illegal, around here anyways...me and a buddy thought about it, but everyone did know what the spread is, and when i found it was illegal i was didnt really want to partake in it

on a happier note, my boy (Forsberg) picked up his 1st goal of the season..but amazingly has 15 points thusfar..shows what kind of a playmaker he is.
