I'm not a hockey fan, but I'm reading on my local news right now that the Pittsburgh Penguins might be packing their bags and heading to KC. The reason that was cited is that Mario isn't thrilled about Pittsburgh is balking on a new hockey arena.
Thoughts?

a mistake in the long run. im not a pens fan, but pittsburgh is a great hockey city. the NHL floundered in KC once before and if they move there again, it'll happen twice.

LOL the KC Blades. Good times at those games. No one would even go so you could just sneak up to front row no problem.

Wasn't the Blades. Was the Scouts. Way back in the 70's. A couple of teams failed back then: The Scouts, the Atlanta Flames, the Colorado Rockies, the California Golden Seals...Certain territories aren't meant for hockey and KC is one of them.

I really hope they don't. In know way am I a Pens fan, but I agree, it's a great hockey town, and it's had a lot of history there..
