the wouldn't put them in the same pool, or at least I hope they dont so that we can destroy them in the finals or whatever. Anyway I think the only real suprises are Bertuzzi and Nash cause of the whole Moore fiasco and cause Nash has sucked it up this season since he was injured. BTW Wade Redden is my cousin.

Your cousin?! Are you serious? And yeah, I do agree with Nash and Bertuzzi being questionable...I kind of hoped they would have bumped Eric Staal up there with the big boys...he played junior near where I live (Peterborough Petes, OHL).

I think the big surprise is Luongo. Sure, he'll probably be the #3 guy, but he hasn't looked good at all this year. I was expecting Cujo to make the team and challenge Turco for the #2 spot.
And it's good to see Sakic be the captain. I may be American, but I'm an Avs fan first.

Scary talent from top to bottom, although I was disappointed with Nash. Bertuzzi I have no problem with as he's a dominant power forward but Nash has been hurt and could've left his spot to the whiz-kid named sid (I had no intentions for that rhyming, just happened).
Best three goalies they could've chosen by the way. Luongo, in my opinion, would be rivaling Brodeur if he had half the team Marty has. Turco is very deserving but Luongo should be #2.

To be honest Sidney Crosby is nowhere near good enough to make that team. He is only 18 years old. Sure he is the future of the game and all but seriously he is not on the same level as guys like Sakic, Iginla, and St. Louis. He doesn't even compare to a guy like Spezza or Staal. Dont get me wrong I think Crosby is prob the best prospect to come along since the Great One, but that is all he is: a prospect. Let's wait a few years before we hand over the preverbial "reigns of Canadian hockey" to a kid who is the same age as I am.

I meant bump Spezza up and make Crosby a reserve. And while he is a prospect, he's already displaying that he's in the upper 1/3rd of NHLers right now. I would've put him as a reserve and left Nash off.

Turco has been playing great this year, and Luongo would have had much more attention had his team not suck... and woot for Redden's cousin... he's on my fantasy hockey team...

Brodeur > Luongo & Turco and that's all that matters...he's starting anyways.
