What made it even more spectacular was who did it. Malik isn't exactly known as a skilled offensive defenseman.

Let alone a skilled anything, just kinda stands there like a gargoyle and just hope to stop someone. Im suprised he could get his stick through his legs, Malik isn't known for the speedy hands of some players such as Gaborik, Jagr or Me. |

Every single time I have a PK in soccer, I send the goalie the wrong direction.

Not trying to be mean, but this is completely different. A hockey goalie has a shorter area to block, makes is much harder for the shooter.

I always wonder why you don't see any massive, 300-lb. goalies in the NHL. Come on, they can just queeze into the net. Nothing could get past them.

Answer to why fat goalies can't play in the NHL: side to side movement. There's no one fat enough that can cover the entire net side to side.

Well, the net is 6' wide, and 4' tall, so maybe a tall and fat person could get out there if he had enough padding and simply stood in the net.
