try and try to see if you take the thrashers to the playoffs for the first time ever. You have a good young team to start with and you have a good goalie to build straight out from.

It's really up to you. Your going to listen to what we say, but there still going to be that one team you think about doing. Do them. Whatever you want do, or you'll end up bombing this. It happens to often, people do dynastys with teams someone else picked for them.

Completely in agreement with the above statement. The only way a dynasty will be good is if it's something you want to do. If you look at most of the best sites on DC, I guarentee they didn't do them because someone else wanted them to, but because they had a personal interest in them. Go with the team in the back of your head.

I couldn't even imagine doing one without it being a hometown team, or a team that I follow anyways on a regular basis. Created teams are another thing though, because they give you a little intimate relationship with them...you built them from scratch, you made their name, their identity, their uniform, their logo, everything...
So go with one of those two.
