Not really NHL, but Wisconsin beat Boston College 2-1 in the Finals. BC gave up a powerplay goal with about 10 minutes left, and it was about time. Wisconsin had something like 6 or 7 power play oppotunities before that and couldn't do anything. BC also had something like 4 shots total in the 3rd period. Wisconsin gets its first Frozen Four championship since 1990...

That last shot BC had was crazy, off the post. Great game though.

What do you mean about time? BC's power play protection(sorry not a huge hockey nut) is one of the best in the nation. In the tourney they were 24/25 on penalty kill....

The BC PK isn't even near the best in Hockey East, let alone the nation..... they were probably 5th or so in HEA this year
***Edit - let me just add, the ncaa hockey playoffs are just weird every year.... brackets never follow order in the end and very rarely do two conference champions meet in the frozen four.... I know for hockey east, it always seems the 2, 3 or 4 teams in the conference make it, conf champs often get knocked out.... and being only a 16 team tourney, you'd think it's a little more stable than the 65 of basketball, but it never is
