Wow, playing with 3 injured d-men and 2 injured forwards i was sure the Canes would dominate this game.

As long as Briere is playing, I'd never count this team out. I can't wait for next year either. He's definitely going to get 100-110 points next year. But yeah, I definitely would feel a lot safer knowing it was 3-2 coming back home...

DAMNIT! We got outplayed last night. We were so stupid on defense. I never realized how hard it must be for a player to realize when his team is short handed to just dump the puck out of the zone, but we had at least 3 guys whiff at a puck in overtime. Our powerplay was terrible. We must have gotten maybe one shot (and that was right when it ended) during our powerplay that started at the end of the 3rd, while Carolina got at least 5 on theirs.
Hat's off to Carolina. They brought it last night. And remember to bow down to Cam fricken Ward, or else we would have been up 3-2 in the series. I really believe we can still take Game 6 and make it one more game, and if we can get some early goals and actually hold a lead, we're going to the Cup. But that seems like a lot to hope for...

No penalties on Buffalo in the second, third, or OT periods. I hope the Canes get the same home-ice advantage in game 7. Then again, the NHL people have admitted themselves that the Buffalo market is better for ratings.

I would put all my savings on the Sabres if they win Game 7. Hell, I'd put all my money on the Canes if they do. I'm not dissing the Oilers, because what they've done is crazy. But the East is just too fast...

Eff the Canes and eff Cam Ward. And the best thing going for Edmonton is former Buffalo nobody Dwayne Roloson. Hottest goalie in the playoffs (yes, that includes Cam Ward).

I cannot WAIT any longer. I want it to get over with fast. I don't wanna spend 60+ minutes of fingernail biting any more. I'm too scared to even watch it, really. Maybe I'll check out the Spelling Bee or the Mavs/Suns game. The 100th game of the year will virtually determine if we're the best in the league or just another contender. All I can say is LETS GO SABRES!
