Thought I'd put this up here. Some good games going on and some that went on already. The Avs took care of the Stars to my liking, Montreal is upsetting Carolina as I type, even though they've been outshot 35-14 or something (it's 4-1) and my Sabres are edging out the Flyers 2-1.

There's a classic game going on between Buffalo and Philly right now. 2 minutes left in the first OT, tied 2-2. I hate Buffalo and Philadelphia with a passion...but I appreciate a good sporting event. Check it out.

Great finish to the first hockey game I watched any of this year.
Worked for me, I was rooting for Buffalo, because their logo looks cool.

What a game. My favorite player, Danielle Brierre, is the MVP of that one. Game winning goal and an assist... Didn't deserve it. I mean, you should win with that many undeserved power plays. And of course the dirty play. Cry all you want, but this may make up for the phantom goal a few years back. I know Buffalo was getting more of the calls, but that's no excuse for Forsberg not getting that empty netter in the first period and it's definitely no excuse for giving up 58 shots. Buffalo's team as a whole had as much playoff experience as Forsberg and I think Desjardins COMBINED. And if Knuble could have stuck his stick a little lower, they might have tied the game a little earlier. But as for penalties, the ref's called them the same way they have all season for the most part. Anyway, now I hear that Jagr is hurt on the Rangers, so I think New Jersey is no doubt the favorite to win this series. |

Gerber better start making some saves, or else Carolina is done. Huet played amazing, probably even better than Esche did. I don't really like Carolina that much (probably because I'm jealous of Staal) so seeing them lose is fine by me...

I am LOVING this Flyers-Sabres game. 6-1 Sabres. I feel real bad for Esche. He only saved 5 shots and gave up 5 goals, but maybe one or possibly two were actually his fault. Buffalo is beating the Flyers to every puck. They're too fast for them. And damn, what a goal for Gagne. That's something you normally only see in video games...

Philly will win in a tight-fisted affair at Buffalo on Sunday and follow it up with the series clincher at home on Tuesday. Book it.

They will have trouble in Buffalo. All of the things that pump up the fans were brought out these past two games.
