That really sucks for them. Both the Hawks and Thrashers can only sign players for 1 year? How bogus is that (wow I don't think I've ever typed bogus in my life)... Claxton will get to sign with the Hawks for 4 years since his negotiation was already under way, but now both teams are completely out of the running for any big-time FA that's left, unless they'd want to go to a mediocre team for 1 year...
