anyone played it yet, for 360. I think Im gonna rent it later this week or something. Im not a hockery fan or anything this game just looks tight.

After NHL 2004, I thought EA's regressed a little bit and 2K stayed strong as ever, which has resulted in me swaying toward 2K in recent years. However, I think once EA gets the NHL series feature-rich on 360, they will once again become the best.

I bought 07 yesterday, but I might end up buying 2k7 too, just because of how cheap they are. I never checked out 2k6 last year, although I heard it was better than 06, so I kinda wanna see what I'm missing...

One thing that was awesome about the 2K series was the all star game stuff. My friend and I used to play that before our roller hockey games. It was the best.

Wohhhhhhhhhhh I tought this was the first year I would not buy a nhl game, but with this one being only 20$ imma go and cop me one  Is it good, whats hot, whats not... come on people speak out ! |

I agree that the skills competition is awesome and I wish EA would incorporate it.

I'm an EA fanboy, plain and simple. Except when it comes to NCAABB. Same for me, I've just always liked the gameplay and overall theme of EA. Plus i just can't switch controls, i suck whenever I try. |

I adapt to switching controls, plus I'm used to both series...es...so it's no biggie for me.
I used to be an EA fanboy, but I enjoyed the NFL 2K series as well as NHL and NBA 2K when they hit PS2.

I played CH2K6 and it was really good, but everytime I wanted to pass I accidentally shot the ball and vice-versa. But I did like the depth and the shot-stick. But I'm still and EA guy, plus EA has a golf game.

I'm not a hockey fan, but I've read about it some, and I kinda dig it. The skills competition looks fun.
Might be worth the rental.
