He's not brutal, you could do far worse than Zhitnik. But I agree that trading for him in general, let alone trading young promising talent for him, is a mistake.
As for the Gretzky deal, there was no way the Oilers were getting fair value for him when they pretty much made it known they couldn't keep him. So I think they did a decent job getting what they got, it's no one elses fault that they couldn't turn those first rounders into impact players.

If the Flyers and Sixers both finish in last place in their divisions, Comcast should completely disband. Whatever moron put Ed Snyder in charge is a complete idiot, and should be relieved of his duties for destroying the Flyers this season and completely demolishing the Sixers since his tenure. This way, not only is Philly relieved of it's mediocre ownership, but they have a chance to get a cable provider that actually provides good service as well...
And yes I'm ranting because Comcast has pissed my family off ever since we got their services... but still, change is definitely needed...

Sucks about Kessel. He was an amazing (well, above average) young talent. Wish he has the same recovery as Jon Lester did.

I know too many Leaf fans... all I hear about is them bitching about how he should be on the all star ballot and their desire to sleep with Mats Sundin...
By the way, the Flyers make another deal with the Isles, trading Randy Robitaile for Mike York and a draft pick... not really too important of a move, except it shows Philly is even dumber. York will get u roughly the same amount of production, and even though he's a couple of years younger, comes at a more expensive price. Wasn't it clarified already that Philly was in enough cap trouble BEFORE the Zhitnik deal, and now Holmgren makes another dumb move?

And does anyone know if the Junior Championship is going to be televised? I probably won't get much of a chance to watch pretty much any of it, but it would be nice to see how much talent the US has, and if we can stop those damn Canadians...

Im not from Canada but I remeber seeing it because Chris Borque(BU at the time) got hurt and couldn't play at UVM. Maybe I'm wrong though...........

I wouldn't mind watching though. Another thing I wouldn't mind having television access to (if it's on tv anywhere) is the CHL Top Prospects game. Always a couple of future stars in that game.
