Anybody watch? Pretty decent game from what I saw, although the thing they showed about the '99 Cup Champion Stars having a reunion was horrible. I didn't like them when they played, let alone now that they've all apparently hit their 90's.

I watched the skills comp, which was pretty good except for the fastest skater time thing breaking and them having to use a stopwatch.
I didn't catch any of the game though, was at my school's game..........

Agreed. You'd think they'd at least be able to get the A.S. game on national TV. Baby steps for now, I guess.

The announcing (especially on the Skills Comp) was dreadful. They had no damn clue what was going on, and it confused the hell out of me. I didn't understand the whole shootout concept with Crosby and Selanne shooting three times until it started, and after Selanne's 2nd shot, they made it seem like the thing was over, and then you see Crosby skating in for his third shot, and I assume we're just watching a replay because the announcers aren't saying anything...
I know this is new to them too, but they needed much better preperation. Hopefully if the game is still on Versus, they get these quirks out of the way.
What I really want to see is NBC pick up the game. It's bad enough they claim to be a "home to hockey" when they show six games a month, starting in January. You can show the game on Versus too I suppose, and have Emerick and whoever else commentates do the game on NBC...
Oh, by the way... MVP Danny freakin Briere (even though it should have been Rolston, who raped Brodeur's mic)
