Pominville literally skated right through 3 guys, kept the puck, and made DiPietro have a tantrum. And Tim Connolly is easily one of the top stick handlers in the league. He had at least 3 great moves in open ice.
Anyone watch just the first 3 minutes of SJ-Nashville? Mad hits going around there. So many people got rocked.
Nailed it.
And sprew that video is amazing... it says what we all think

Senators look like they've finished off the Penguins and will likely play the Sabres in Round 2, barring either a huge Islanders comeback or the Lightning winning their series against the Devils...
Stupid Western Conference teams that are actually geographically located in the West... thanks to them all the games are on late...

Woot Sabres... Devils up 3-2 in their series and San Jose finishes off the Preds...
A lot still up in the air as far as who'll play who in the 2nd round out West... Calgary could potentially spoil everything with an upset, but barring that miracle, Detroit would play the Sharks unless Dallas won their next 2 to knock off Vancouver. The Canucks would play the Ducks in the other matchup.
The only series going on in the East is the Devils-Lightning. If the Devils win one of their next two, they play the Rangers and Buffalo plays Ottawa. If the Lightning come back, Buffalo plays Tampa and New York plays New Jersey...

You have that wrong. If Jersey wins, they get Ottawa, we get NY. NY is the 6 seed and currently the lowest seed to advance.

I'm personally rooting for Tampa just because I think their goaltending and defense is very suspect and we'd have a much easier time scoring on them than Lundqvist and the Rangers.

Sure, the Wings saw a dropoff in play, but not as dramatically different as the Flames do. They didn't look pathetic in either game. They just took silly penalties and couldn't get over the hump.
Whereas the roadies were one goal games, it hasn't been close in any of the 3 games in Detroit.
