I can't find the link to it but the writer suggested that kick in goals should count. I think that is BS. Thoughts?

I don't think it would make much difference at all. I actually think it might be a good idea, because it would take away some contriversey (sp?).

Stupid. The whole cool thing about the game is that you have to move on 1/8 inch blades and whack a puck with a thin stick. The hardest part in the game is getting your stick on the puck, so why should the NHL let lesser-skilled players get an advantage.
The whole controversy aspect is BS. The only thing that's really come up because of this was the NYR-Buff "no goal" and that was replayed hundreds of times by the officials. Replay is what ends controversy, not changing the rules to soccer.

Yeah but some times it is dumb. I remember in the Penguins series when Crosby got a goal called back when it went off his knee and in after he was tripped and fell down. I thought that that should've been a goal. I think it is much harder to kick the puck in the goal that shoot it anyways.
It can go both ways though...

I like how people bitch about the puck getting kicked in or not kicked in and the rangers still won.... who cares?

the problem with this rule is the interpretation of , did he or did he not do a kicking motion to get the puck in the net or whas it accidental.
I think they should either allowed all goals or denied all of them. No more interpretation.
