I really, really wanted the Socceroos to go far. I was pulling for them the whole way cause I have so many Aussie friends and family. They put up a valiant fight all things considered, and people say that they didn't capitalize on their man advantage but COME ON, it's Australia vs. Italy!

He was headed to his right around Neill, saw Neill go down, took the step over him, and sold the foul. If he has any balls, he keeps dribbling, and shoots from point blank range.
But he's an Italian, so it's not like you'd expect him to play with class.

Well...quite a few nothings from quite a few people as several go without a win today. Irck goes .500 to maintain his lead, but mad props goes to Keeper who picked both Italy and Ukraine to advance, and tomorrow has a very good chance to watch Brazil and Spain advance.
Tsk, and we all laughed at him at the beginning. Look at him now. I hope he's still here to bask in his glory, and hasn't left for Kansas.
Irck can also take two tomorrow as he picked Brazil and France. Can't wait for tomorrow, especially that Spain/France affair...that should be fantastic.

Alright, let me clarify a few things. I took into account that it wasn't that you were picking the exact slot of the game, you were picking whether the team would advance. Irck for example picked Brazil, France and Spain all to win...but against different opponents. That's fair...he gets 4 points all the same. He could obviously never get the full 16 points for the round, but he gets the points he picked. It's far too much work to check if the game was in the right slot...besides, you already lost points if you didn't pick the groups correctly.
So, no place movement today except for me bumping DaBears out of 8th.....hoorah!
EDIT: Oh and Maize, don't get too excited yet...you still have an invalid bracket. Fix that ASAP.

I also have England over Brazil. But where I might make or break it is with my Italy making the finals pick. I had them beating Argentina to get there. So a chance for me to get 3 out of 4 Final Four picks.
