J. Roddy Walston & The Business was probably the most awesome opening band I've ever stumbled upon. Sadly my girlfriend got sick, so we left before all of Murder by Death's set.

Keeper I saw somebody who looked a lot like you at Bayside's show last night.
Also, Jon Devoto is still one of my favorite guitarists. He is just so entertaining to watch.

I wanted to go so bad. Anyone listened to The Gaslight Anthem at all? Been listening to them a bit and I absolutely love them. They're different than what I'm used to. I actually just had a girl ask me to go check em out next month in Asbury Park, I think I gotta take the offer, they friggin rock. |

Anyone listened to The Gaslight Anthem at all? Been listening to them a bit and I absolutely love them. They're different than what I'm used to. I actually just had a girl ask me to go check em out next month in Asbury Park, I think I gotta take the offer, they friggin rock. It's Springsteen with a little punk kick, I absolutely love this, was coming in this thread to rec it. So good, one of my favorites this year. |

I saw Gaslight live when I saw alkaline trio, thrice and rise against. I like them a lot.

The '59 Sound and Old White Lincoln have to be my favorite songs off the album. I can't get enough of that sound. I think it's pretty fair to say I'll be seeing them next month in Asbury Park with The Bouncing Souls, should be awesome.

The new Killers "Day & Age" album is really good.. a little different experimental touch for the killers but still keeping with their original style.

So I fell in love with the song from the new Prince of Persia trailer. Breathe Me by Sia. I think she's the lead of Zero 7 as well (who I also like). Commercials lately have been playing some decent music...

I hate you. I wanted to go so bad. They are playing Tinks in Scranton. However to get tickets you have to buy a $40 hoodie. $40 for a ticket? Because apparently I HAVE to get the hoodie. That's ridiculous, it's not worth $80 for me and a girl to see Bayside at Tink's in Scranton, no friggin way lol. I'm not particularly crazy about seeing Gaslight Anthem in Asbury Park (aka Nuclear Bomb Us Please-ville) so I want to see someone I'd like to see. |

Went to the rise against concert last night and it was redonk. The highlights were the set-ending and mindhole-blowing Prayer of the Refugee, and the crowd chanting Rise and fist-pumping before Injection (I think). It was just an absolute sick concert.

I finally downloaded The '59 Sound by The Gaslight Anthem. Jesus it is good stuff. I agree with Keeper and Loki about these guys. Honestly, if you listen to music at all, listen to them they are awesome.
