This is the most retarded argument ive ever seen, but I have a question... How can you say FAU and EMU are "much better" than Maine??? Your argument doesnt make sense... read dkgojackets response above, and there are quite a bit of FCS teams that would handle FBS competition And a team that lost 5 games isn't one of them... |

App State got lucky beating Michigan. Did I enjoy it to the fullest? Yes. But do I really think it would happen again if played over? No.
App State is probably one of the few teams that actually could compete in 1-A against smaller non-BCS schools and they would still be 6-6 at best. But if you lose 5 games in 1-AA, you won't do very well in 1-A. Does EMU suck? Oh yeah. I never said they were great, but comparing a MAC team to a 1-AA team, especially one that lost 5 games, that's stupid.
