With the first weeks big games not starting until Saturday, there are games tonight, the first games of the Division 1 season.
Boston College @ Central Michigan Stephen F. Austin @ Tulsa Temple @ Buffalo Florida International @ Middle Tennessee St. Rhode Island @ UConn Northwestern @ Miami (OH) Eastern Michigan @ Ball St. Minnesota @ Kent St. Toledo @ Iowa St. South Carolina @ Miss. St. Sacramento St.@ Boise St. Southeatern Louisiana @ New Mexico St. Northern Arizona @ Arizona St. Eastern Washington @ Oregon St. UTEP @ San Diego St.
I plan on watching the South Carolina, Northwestern games and maybe some of the B.C. - CMU game. But tonight, no doubt I watch Mike Price and UTEP open up against San Diego St. ;D
And so the season begins....

Of the games played tonight, I think that game has the best CHANCE for an upset....

Ya, I agree. Im just ready for Sat when my Gators play Southern Miss. Not the typical easy game to open the season we usually have, Southern Miss has a good team.

So. Miss is on the way up. I think the Gators will escape but not by more then 2 touchdowns. I'n looking forward to USC @ Arkansas, something about it makes me think theres a chance....

How bout Miss St hanging with South Carolina down 6-0 in the fourth. Wouldnt of expected the Gamecocks to have just six points at this point. Also, the BC and Central Mich game was interesting. Minus a couple bad decisions by Central Mich and they might have won.

Offensive line woes get the best of another SEC team. Pretty good showing from both defenses. I think Miss. State could very well come in as high as fourth in the West, if they can get the offense going.
Now looking to Saturday, Alabama's hosting a very scary Hawaii team. Ought to be very stressful.

The CHIPPEWAS of CENTRAL MICHIGAN had every opportunity to win against BC, the coaching staff just blew it. Pure shame.
Oh, and I'm confident Army will whoop Arkansas State's ass on Saturday just like we did last year.

If I were Iowa State, I'd be a bit worried. 43 points to Toledo? If that trend continues, it might be a long season. Good thing their offense is above-average.

I got the ISU-Toledo game on Comcast local and wow what a finish. Iowa State's defense, well defensive backfield, is in trouble if they don't play any better then they did againt TOLEDO. Your right bearcat, could be a long season.

I was just going through the NCAA 07 rosters and did you know Hawaii has a 351 lbs fullback?! I thought that was crazy, and he's rated above a 90 too. Talk about a cool draft pick that would be.

Yeah they actually have a couple of fullbacks like that. It is just that they don't use them in that spread offense, except close. I'm a tad worried about Bama tonight, because Hawaii is actually pretty good. I just think the humidity and heat will beat too much for the guys from the islands.
I'm like a kid at Christmas today though, this is one of the best days of the year.
Oh, who thinks GT might knock off ND? Am I alone in that thought.

There's definitely a chance, and I believe in GT. I'll be rooting for them as my dad puts on his stupid bandwagoner face and cheers, cheers for old Notre Dame.

Im pulling for GT and think it can happen. I mean who doesnt pull for upset capability like this? Plus, it would end the ND hype early and all the Brady Quinn heisman hoopla.

I'm a tad worried about Bama tonight, because Hawaii is actually pretty good. Finally Hawaii gets some respect! thanks bama! Tonight should be a great game to try to beat the heat the UH players are using the air cooled shoulder pads on the sidelines. I can't make predictions about the UH/Bama game cause when I do they blow up in my face. But good luck but I sure hope to hell Hawaii pulls through and wins. Yeah Reagan Mauia is a huge RB he was a DT but he moved to Rb last year and hes a monster. His nickname on the team is "The Juggernaut". 6'2 and 351pounds...heh
