Pryor moved up his visit to this weekend because he cannot stay for a full official visit in the next two saturdays because of prior commitments.

I honestly have never really been into the off-season process in CFB, but I'm really interested to see what happens with Pryor (for obvious reasons).

Now is really the final stretch for recruits. And Michigan may have a very good end to their class. People can keep talking about the papers disappearing, but I like what's going on in the program. We're Michigan, with the issues we have seen in the past, our prestige really cannot be diminished.
As for the recruits, here is what he could lock in before NSD.... Terrelly Pryor - Well if you don't know by now.... Nick Perry, DE (4-star on Rivals - #) - Detroit, MI Adrian Bushell, ATH (4-star on Rivals - #157 overall) - Desoto, TX Vaughn Telemaque, S - (4-star on rivals - #171 overall) - Long Beach, CA
All of these players still have their official visits left, and while all have other teams they are looking at, Michigan is either their top choice (Perry), still in the hunt (Pryor), or between teams (Bushell and Telemaque).

Bama you might start hating Michigan...
With Major Applewhite leaving, he was one of the reasons Star Jackson committed to Alabama. Michigan QB Coach Rod Smith is familiar with Star (recruiting him at WVU) and has convinced Star to come to Michigan for a visit. However I think he's going to stay at Alabama, as we started WAY too late to try and recruit him.
By the way, Pryor's at Michigan with 5 other recruits right now, and we've gotten two commits (one commit, and one re-commit) so far, you'll hear about them either later today or tomorrow.
Nick Perry's visiting USC today with his older brother.

LSU fans are dillusional, and so are their newspapers.. one of their newspapers is saying Pryor is going there for a visit next week. Well, I guess Pryor must be one of those rare people that can be in two places at once, because he's taking an official to Oregon next week..

ESPN and SI have no business ranking recruits.
The only sites to trust on recruiting rankings are Rivals and Scout, and even those are crapshoots at best. Most recruiting sites care more about selling subscriptions than actually rating recruits..

He doesn't play against the top competion and although he may be the most gifted athlete at QB since VY he isn't that great at passing.

So, his performance against the best competition in the country in the AA game doesn't count for anything? How about the fact that he won the MVP award of that game? And, without a doubt, Pryor would be #1 overall even without Vince Young's success. You don't see 6-6, 220 lb QB's who can run a sub 4.4 and have good passing skills as a senior in high school..

He won that MVP based on his athletic ability not for how he passed. So far his athletisicm has been off the charts but I have yet to see him throw it consitently. Honestly I think Pryor is going to be really good but I think it is a little presumptious to be crowning the savior of the world yet, hell not even the next VY yet. I happen to remember a strong-armed, mobile QB that was dubbed the "next one". His name was Xavier Lee and look what he did with his career.

They've already picked up verbals from two 4* guys in Darron Thomas and Chris Harper, both QB's.

However I think he's going to stay at Alabama, as we started WAY too late to try and recruit him. I've heard he's going after Dominic Britt, the QB committed to Cincy, in addition to Marquiese Gray - committed to Minnesota - , as well. Have to wonder if that indicates anything about his confidence in landing Pryor.
