Bama you might start hating Michigan... With Major Applewhite leaving, he was one of the reasons Star Jackson committed to Alabama. Michigan QB Coach Rod Smith is familiar with Star (recruiting him at WVU) and has convinced Star to come to Michigan for a visit. However I think he's going to stay at Alabama, as we started WAY too late to try and recruit him. I've heard he's going after Dominic Britt, the QB committed to Cincy, in addition to Marquiese Gray - committed to Michigan - , as well. Have to wonder if that indicates anything about his confidence in landing Pryor. Britt was talked about but he didn't show much interest, and Marquiese Gray's grades are too lackluster to get into Michigan.

Yeah, but you've got to keep in mind Rodriguez's history at WVU of getting guys in, no matter the grades. I mean, the man got Noel Devine into college for christ sake. I know that they say that this is Michigan, and it won't happen there, but if a guy has any talent whatsoever, the rules will be bent.. and it has been done at every college around the country.
I don't see Gray heading to Michigan either, though..
But, Jackson would be a nice pickup if you can land him. He was drawing rave reviews all week at the AA game..

But it won't... it's not just Michigan it's the Big 10.. They have harder admissions then the SEC, Big East and all the other conferences. I'm not trying to start a flame war with the SEC, but the Big 10 commish said it best when he said something along the lines of: "We'd be amazingly good like the SEC if we were allowed to recruit athletic idiots."

Sort of off-topic, but this is just hilarious to me...
Will Compton re-affirmed his commitment to Nebraska today. The entire defensive coaching staff showed up at his house recently, and two of the coaches had tattoos bearing the name "COMPTON" on them. Keep in mind they were temporary, but that's still strange.
I literally spewed my drink out of my nose. Can't believe how pathetic that program has become.

4* OL Matt Hall visited Mizzou this week, and from what I've seen and read about, Petrino wasn't very happy, and cussed out Hall and his parents.
I guess it was down to Mizzou and Arkansas anyways...this kid is 6'10" and nearing 320#'s.
Would be nice to see him in the B&G.

For whatever reason, Michigan has stopped recruiting 3* QB BJ Daniels. With it seeming likely that OSU will nab Pryor, Daniels and Justin Feagin were high priorities for us. I'm a little bit worried about how this is all going to play out.
Edit: eat me, Chis.

I love how Florida is back to #1 in recruiting. Both their class and ND's is amazing. Its scary how good Urban can recruit after X-Mas.

I just hope our inexperienced defense steps up next season with a year of experience under their belt. Especially the secondary. I did notice some pretty impressive recruits in the secondary though, so its obvious Urban knows what we need to improve on this season. If I recall correctly, our top two corners weren't even cornerbacks in high school and both were freshman. I may be incorrect on that one though, but I am pretty sure.

yeah the guy was actually duped by a guy posing to be a recruiting consultant for the schools. The family actually ended up paying the guy some amount of money for his services too.

So the number one class in the nation belongs to who? Alabama Depends what site you go to but I haven't seen them at #1 yet. It's basically been down to ND, Florida and Clemson based on Rivals, Scouts and ESPN.
