colorado had a worse record so its not the same as saying 10-2 georgia should be in over 11-2 LSU who won the conference I was thinking more oregon in 01. I thought Colorado had Oregon's record and what not, so yes you are right. I agree that LSU should be in over Georgia, just wanted to point out it wouldn't be that unheard of.

so it is more or less official, Ohio State vs LSU for the NC. Ohio State was tabbed #1 in the coaches and Harris polls and LSU was #2 in both polls as well. It is expected the BCS will follow suit this evening. So there u have it the Tigers vs the Suckeyes for the NC.

What's funny is the all 11 of LSU's 1st place votes in the Coaches poll came from SEC coaches...
And the only one that didn't vote them #1 was Phil Fulmer, gee, wonder why?

This whole season is just a giant reason for the NCAA to instill a playoff system. Sadly, money speaks louder than anything, so we're probably a long way from change. Although honestly, I don't understand why they just can't make it a 12 team playoff, use the lower bowls in the opening round and then the larger bowls as the teams advance.

Where'd you see who voted for who? I'd like to check that out. Ugh at having to watch two of my most hated teams in the title game though. I guess go OSU for the Big Ten.

Last night you were singing Hawaii's praises, what happened to that? Well I know Hawaii didn't realistic chance of playing. I think they should get a chance at least simply because every other team did something on the field to show that they don't completely deserve to play, but they won't and I'll have to live with that. LSU imo is the best team right now, possibly with the exception of USC but losing to Stanford at home under any circumstances should take you out of the MNC picture. I'm mostly campaigning for LSU over Georgia, because I still don't know why people think UGA should go but those people are out there. They won the toughest conference in the country and lost two games in triple OT, after they require 2-point conversions which makes it even more gimmicky. OU also has an argument since they have convincingly beaten last weeks #1 twice. OSU only has one loss and won their conference, though, so I think they get the nod.

About 20 minutes until the bowls are unvieled, and the LA Times is reporting an Ohio State/LSU BCSNC, and a USC/Illinois Rose Bowl.

Its out LSU/OSU Hawaii/UGA USC/Illinois VT/WVU Oklahoma/Kansas Ugh. This may be a snap judgment but I see both Illinois and Hawaii getting steamrolled. Then again, this year, nothing is impossible.

I thought WVU had to go to the orange as the Big East winner? The Big East has no automatic bowl game, they just go to one as an at large that has to be picked up. That Ohio State/LSU game will be good, because OSU will for sure be ready. Then again, LSU is so f'ing good that Ohio State is going to have to play an amazing game to win it all. This has 03 Ohio State/Miami type feel to it. Geaux to hell LSU. Georgia will have problems with Hawaii, but I think they will win. USC is going to trash Illinois, VT is going to trash Kansas, Oklahoma will beat WVU by 2 TDs and I think that covers it. Oh and btw Sportsbuck, where the fuck did you get 11 coaches from the SEC voted LSU 1st? Richt wouldn't and didn't and Saban can't vote this year. Did you just pull that out of your ass or what dude?
