You can always get hired, but it is a matter of proving yourself. Your contract runs out in three years in career mode, but didn't know how long schools will wait to start trying to hire you.

I had a little trouble with the free throws but now I have it down to a tee. In my first game I went about 1/10 from the line. My last game I played I went 6/6.

I use to use the meter but then it got really easy. On some routines it's still easy, but when they stop and keep going I have trouble.

Before the last day to contact athletes during the season, like a week before the conference tourneys begin, should you use all of your recruiting points? Or do I need to save some? I don't want to waste them if it is the last day before the 5 week offseason recruiting. So any help here would be great.

Don't use them all, because there is an off season recruiting this where you should work harder in.

You don't get more recruiting points for the off-season recruiting? (I haven't been through it yet, but I thought you did...)

I'm not sure, but I don't think you would. I never actually payed attention to recruiting points, I just did as I pleased and it worked.

everybody said you get more recruiting points. Someone said that they got 1,500 more during the offseason. I better get more points, or I am in deep trouble.
again my question: Before the last day to contact athletes during the season, like a week before the conference tourneys begin, should you use all of your recruiting points? Or do I need to save some?

I sort of answered my own question but figured you guys would like to know that you do get more points given to you in the offseason recruiting. I don't know what it is based on though. I simulated a season with Texas A&M Corpus Christie and spent all my points early giving me zero. Then when the recruiting restarted I was given 500 points, on only a 14-10 season. So you at least get some.

i am thinking that they are reward based. Like 250 for a winning season and so much for the NCAA tourney, but maybe not. Maybe it is 500 for small conference schools, 1000 for mid majors, and 1500 for majors.

I received 500 points as Radford (I tied for my conference regular season title and won my conference tourney, then lost in the first round of the NCAA tourney). So I think it's solely based on your school's size/prestige.

Alright I am in my conference tourney now, so my season could end at any moment. Any recruiting tips on how to make sure I get the 4 players I am after? Here is my situation:
My three players from the US I am as high of interest as you can be. For two of them I am their top team, but for another one (probably my better of these three) I am second.
My other player is a world player and his interest is about half, but I am the only school he has interest in and only scholly offered. He is my best player, and at this point probably my most important get. I have been e-mailing and calling him all season.
I am only going to get 500 points I am assuming, so my question is how to approach my situation? I really have to budget that 500 points well, because I could really use at least three out of the four.
Should I try to give all three of my U.S. players a home visit? and then call them until they sign? or is that too expensive to do?
How do I approach the international player? Can he be visited in the offseason recruiting or is it still just phone calls only?

I’ve only gone through recruiting once (and I only had two scholarships to fill), so I am by no means an expert, but here is what I would do...
- First of all, always e-mail all of your targets five times each week (the max). These are free.
- Since a visit to a recruit is expensive (usually around 100 points), I would not visit any players during the first week. Call everybody, but don’t visit them.
- At the start of the second week, hopefully some of your targets will have announced their plans. This will help you decide who to visit in a last push to get them to sign.
- You won’t be able to visit the world recruit, so just keep hitting him with the e-mail and phone calls.
- Don’t forget to look at recruits who you have not targeted as the weeks go on. There may be some good players that don’t have a scholarship offer that will ‘settle’ for your school.
- Don’t forget to actually offer scholarships!
Again, I am no expert.
Let us know how it goes!

If the three US guys are already at the highest interest level possible, a phone call at the beginning and a visit at the end of the week should probably be enough to sign them. For world recruits, they all stay about half interested until the last two weeks of the offseason. Don't ask me why...I guess world recruits just think longer about whether or not they want to go to America to play basketball. You still cannot visit them. Just keep using the same world recruit strategy that you used all season. Near the very end...sometimes on the last day...he might get around to signing with you.

Thanks for the help!!!

My problem is that with one of them i am still behind another school on his list.

My problem is that with one of them i am still behind another school on his list. Does he have any other scholarship offers? I was listed at #3 on one of my targets, but he signed with me pretty quickly since I was his only scholarship offer (he had a high interest in me, too).

Yes he has one, and there is only the one school in front of me on his list. I believe he is interested in McNeese State and Grambling (Me)...in that order. With two offers on the table.

I have a question about e-mailing recruits...
I have been e-mailing recruits with my top recruiter, thinking that will have the greatest effect on my targets.
Last night I noticed that when I choose the ‘E-mail Recruit’ option and then go to choose a coach to use, it does not display my recruiting grades. If you pick another option, such as ‘Phone Recruit’, the recruiting grades are displayed. Since the recruiting grades are not displayed when e-mailing a recruit, it seems that it doesn’t matter which coach does the e-mailing...they will all have the same effect.
So is this true? Does it not matter what coach e-mails your recruits? Or does your recruiting grade play a part when e-mailing?
