I'm confused here... Eric Moulds was sick of Buffalo... so he goes to the Texans??? That sure as hell makes sense.
And now appartently Javon Walker to the 49ers... man, people are screwed up. I would rather win than get payed more money.

Well, Moulds had the option to go to Philadelphia. He wanted money, and the only team willing to give him that was Houston. Walker on the other hand did not really have that option.

That is what I am talking about though...
Moulds had the opportunity to go to a possible championship team but not have as much money but he chooses to go to Houston, a crappy team, for more money. It just seems stupid to me...

He still really wants to go to Philadelphia. Whenever someone mentions it to him, he gets excited, but money is the issue.

Adding Walls is a good move by KC...he gives them a bit of depth and is going to push for PT over Dexter McCleon and Surtain. Being 6'4" obviously helps too.

Rumors going around GB is that Javon Walker is as good as traded. They've talked to Walker's agent about possibily giving him a new contract in the middle of the season if he can stay healthy and put up decent numbers, but those close to Walker are saying the Packers couldn't pay him enough to come back. It's no longer an issue about money, it's an issue with Ted Thompson and the rest of the GB organization.
The Buffalo Bills are said to be the most interested and have supposedly offered J.P. Losman in exchange for Walker and a third round pick, to which I'm sure Ted Thompson fell off his chair laughing at. No doubt Buffalo is interested in getting Walker after trading Moulds, but the Packers wouldn't take Losman for Walker straight up, let alone having to give up another draft pick.

Our defense is going to effin tight this upcoming season! Arrington was the final touch we needed. I personally hope we draft a receiver in the draft, Chad Jackson or someone. Then I think our offense will be complete as well.

Kiper talked about Moss to the Giants and it seems like a good fit.

They need a downfield threat to complement Burress, and Moss seems like the right guy. Of course, if one of the other two fall to you, you take them first. Doubtful to happen though. This isn't the best receiver draft in recent memory, so you have to take what you can get.

7 YEARS!?!?!? HAHAHAHAHA TED THOMPSON. HAHAHAHA. When's the last time an NFL contract actually lasted 7 years? Woodson will be a Packer for 3 years at the most. He's a decent pick up since Al Harris isn't a #1 corner and you can't get much worse than Ahmad Carroll. Edit: Here's what makes me think it's really a three year deal... There aren't any bonuses being reported for anything after three years, and a lot of the money is front loaded ($10 of the $50 mill) in the first year. If Woodson stays healthy, there's a chance that the contract will be reworked after the first few years of the deal. If he gets hurt again (which is probably likely), then he'll just be a June 1 cut in a couple years. I honestly like the move because it moves Ahmad Carroll to the nickel spot, where he's probably better suited. Getting Woodson also eliminates the need of drafting a corner in the second round, which was probably likely before the signing IMO. Now after the first round the Packers can focus on making other areas stronger and possibly getting some more offensive weapons. If the Packers land Mario Williams, they'll probably take a linebacker in Round 2 since there's bound to be a good one left by the 37th overall pick, but if they get A.J. Hawk in the first round, you could see them taking an offensive lineman.

True, but still, I wouldn't have wasted my time signing him for 7 years. Odds are they're gonna end up having to take an unneccessary cap hit.

They were going to need to offer 7 years for him to get him away from the Bucs. The cap hit's gonna suck, but the Packers will have more cap room in a couple years when Brett and his enormous salary go off the books.
