Ya I agree about Heap, not sure if he'll move past Gonzalez but he has the weapons to do so with McNair at quarterback now who as Bearsbacker said has a history of loving his tight ends. Look at him with Tennessee, didnt matter who the tight end was he would end up putting atleast decent numbers there. Why do you think I loved it when Ben Troupe was drafted by them? It payed off too because the past two years Troupe has put up good seasons as a young tight end, and thats with sharing time with Erron Kinney.
Your prediction about the switch of wins between Tampa and Carolina could be correct, I just have a funny feeling although we're rough on road games that we're going to pull this one off. Plus, I just dont see Chris Simms having a very good game against our defense and think Jake Delhomme would have a better chance at leading his team even if the Panthers are in Baltimore.
But my reasoning for giving us a 7-1 home record was the same as yours to move it to 8-0 Bearsbacker. Great defenses get that extra boost at home with their crowd enery, making it that much harder for them to be beaten. Not to mention less problems for the offense as well all know.

I won't be "singing a different tune" until after the Super Bowl. You have to be pretty stupid to think the first two weeks are important enough to change your outlook on the season.

ah, alright my bad... I just thought beating the two teams that most people projected to finish ahead of you at the end of the season had to count for something? Guess not? So we will just have to wait for the rematches of both games so Atlanta can beat both of them again. Maybe that will change something.

Nope not really, I've seen it posted on other message boards.

Okay, sorry for not falling in with everyone and aggreeing.
Tigers are doing pretty good. White Sox were supposed to win the division. Was that posted on other message boards too? Probably. But they won't.
So just cause it was posted on other message boards doesn't mean it is the divine word of God. Mmkay.
Actually, I'll back off a little. MAYBE second over the Bucs. I fail to see Atlanta beating Carolina with Steve Smith in the lineup.

Wont really mean anything if they happen to win the rematch either since its overall record that counts. Atlanta has no shot with Smith playing.

Worst. Arguement. In. Sports. Ever.
"Only reason you won, is cause we had a player out."

Worst argument ever is more like
"We won the first two games, so we're a lock to win the division and go to the Super Bowl"

When someone disagrees with you and calls you out it turns into one.

I think the Chiefs offense is pretty good... I somehow sense sarcasm here... Anyhoo, I don't think the offense would be good even with Green in there. The offensive line is way too porous...however, the defense is looking rather strong. Much better than in past years.

So by your logic the Bears are no good either cause they've beaten the Packers and Lions.
