We start at week 7. Who I pick to win.
-----------
Sunday, Oct. 22
Carolina at Cincinnati Detroit at N.Y. Jets Green Bay at Miami Jacksonville at Houston New England at Buffalo Philadelphia at Tampa Bay Pittsburgh at Atlanta San Diego at Kansas City Denver at Cleveland Arizona at Oakland Minnesota at Seattle Washington at Indianapolis
Monday, Oct. 23
N.Y. Giants at Dallas
-----------
The toughest pick for me this week was the Monday night game, The Giants at Dallas. The Giants started the season slow but have just exploded in the past couple of games and started to look like they can take this division. They've looked better than the Eagles recently, who hit a slump last week. The Boys D has been releatively consistent minus a few plays a game. The big thing is that Drew's finally finding T.O. If Drew can get protection the Boys can be dangerous, so expect the Giants #1 priority to be to pressure Bledsoe. But taking both the whole season and the past few weeks into consideration I think that the Giants have a little bit of a better chance to knock of the Cowboys. Though, once again, if Drew can get time in the pocket, the game can quickly get out of hand. With that out of the way you're probably thinking about the Tampa pick. Well...... I always pick Tampa. Even though I don't always think they'll win, I always hope they do. It's kinda like a karma thing. So you'll see throughout the season that they'll always be bold. Feel free to post your picks or to comment on my picks. I'll update date my record for the season every Monday night or Tuesday morning. And I won't edit my original post for any circumstance so you know that I'm not changing any picks.

--------------------------------
I originally had picked Atlanta this week, but had changed my mind to Pittsburgh. So I would say that was my toughest pick considering I didnt know whether to go with Atlanta stopping the run this week after what happened against the Giants and shutting the Steelers down, or to go with Pittsburgh continuing their success on the ground after what happened last week against Kansas City.
I also noticed that I have picked 10 road teams out of the 13 games, something very unusual while Stat picked 8. Meaning it could be a dissapointing week for home crowds, or that some of these teams could pull an upset with the advantage.
Some of the teams that I think could surprise this week are:
Tampa Bay (Coming off their first victory while Philly comes off a loss) Detroit (I know their bad, but the Jets secondary could be in trouble against Kitna, Williams) Oakland (Can Arizona fully recover from what happened on MNF? Cards running game has been suspect, and Raiders are #1 against the pass in the NFL) Kansas City (LT has struggled past few games against Chiefs at Arrowhead and plays against them a week after they were destroyed defensively by Pittsburgh)

I knew I should have stuck with my original choice of Atlanta...
Funny though, three of the four picks I pointed out that could be upsets ended up happening.

Yep... keep doubting them Falcons. I love it. Keep bragging about them...They didn't look that great against a very sub-par Steeler team without Roethlisberger who before he got injured was leading the Steelers over your annoying team. These Steelers are not the Steelers of the past, that's the last game you'll ever see Vick play like that. What happened last week vs. the Giants. I'll continue my doubting...

But I guess the NFL is getting ready for Halloween. I mean come on! The Raiders winning, Seattle losing at home, Houston beating the Jags, and the Bucs pulling out a game winning field goal, from midfield! They should've been running a promo for "Any Given Sunday" this week. Anyway I'll definately be looking to next week to better my record. Talk about starting on the wrong foot. I can't wait for my redemtion picks Saturday. This week : 6-7 Total : 6-7

My bad picks were enough to get me a win in my weekly pool. $24 in one dollar bills never looked so nice.

Week 8. My time to redeem myself.
-----------
Sunday, Oct. 29
Arizona at Green Bay Atlanta at Cincinnati Baltimore at New Orleans Houston at Tennessee Jacksonville at Philadelphia Seattle at Kansas City San Francisco at Chicago Tampa Bay at N.Y. Giant St. Louis at San Diego Indianapolis at Denver N.Y. Jets at Cleveland Pittsburgh at Oakland Dallas at Carolina
Monday, Oct. 30
New England at Minnesota
----------
Pretty striaght forward. There's a couple of games that could go either way. But I think that because of injuries and momentum that there's a good chance that at the end of the day those are the winners.

Another tough week, but I am pretty confident in the picks I made. Starting off with ARI-GB, its hard to tell whether the Packers young team will get into winning ways or whether Dennis Green begins to feel the pressure of getting fired and pulls out a win. I didnt think Denny would be on the hot seat at first, but you better believe he would be in alot of trouble if he goes 1-7 with losses against OAK, GB into the bye week.
HOU-TEN could really go either way, its a battle of who's the worst in the AFC South basically. Both teams have played well though, but have no chance in a division with JAX-IND.
Speaking of them, Jacksonville heads to Philadelphia to play another team desperate for a win this week. Both need this one badly to not only compete in their division, but for a wildcard spot. I think the Jags really killed themselves last week and injuries take thier toll on the defense again, causing a Philly team who really could be 6-1, 7-0 to do alot of offense.
As for Indy they also have their hands full against Denver. Two teams that could of faced each other in the AFC Champ last yr, this is going to be one of the weeks best games. We'll see this week just how "for real" this Broncos defense really is. Denver must get something going offensively to have a chance in this game. Oh, and to watch some tape on what Tennessee did to hold Indy on offense.
As for the rest, I picked KC because I dont believe in Seneca Wallace to come into Arrowhead without Alexander as well and get a victory. St. Louis is in bold because due to Seattle and thier injuries they are even more aware of the shot they have to win the NFC West, pulling them over an injury depleted Chargers defense along with suspension depleted. Minnesota wins at home on Monday Night, proving that the New England Patriots are not what they used to be, but instead a good team in a very bad division.
