Jones + Benson is a beastly combination. It's going to be tough for the Pats to stop them and even worse for the Colts.
Grossman had no interceptions today, that's amazing for him.

WHO DAT SAY THEY GUNNA BEAT THEM BEARS? What the hell does "Choose your words very carefully mean to you?" I mean, really in an surly mood right now. My team just handed the NFC Championship game to the Bears. Too bad the Bears are actually good, or the Saints could have been in it at the end. That's the problem with good teams, you can't try and give the game away and expect to be within three touchdowns at the end.

Ban him. It'd be funny.
I still say the Saints lost the game more than the Bears won it. A couple turnovers and lucky catches here and there and bam, it's done.

No....Bears defense won the game more than anything else. They buckled down in quarters one, three and four. They forced the turnovers...Brees didn't throw the ball into the ground, he fumbled it numerous times.
Let's give credit where credit is due.
The refs had nothing to do with this loss. The fumble on the kick return was legit, the ball was already knocked loose so possession was lost. The fumble recovered by Ogunleye was legit, he recovered it and was down by contact. You can't honestly say there was a bad call that went Chicago's way.
This was a drag you out into the middle of Times Square and beat the crap out of you game. Chicago did it the way Chicago always has...blue collar. Nothing fancy, just pound the ball right at you and kill you with their defense.

But you GOTTA hold on to the ball. You have to. I usually blame the fumble on the guy who fumbled, not the defense, unless an outright strip happened. Actually, the argument can be spun either way if you wanna do that, so I will look forward to the Super Bowl with great hope that the Bears get their asses kicked.

The other thing I have to say is "DON'T EVER LISTEN TO AN ESPN "EXPERT" AGAIN".
I looked on their Bears/Saints preview this morning and every single one of them picked the Saints................ALL OF THEM!!!
Time and time again, they are proven to be complete idiots. The only person who even gave them a chance was John Clayton and he wrote it in an article mid week. But ultimately, he still picked the Saints....
What a joke. Like I said, always go against what everyone else is saying.

I've lost a lot of money on the Lions that way

He had the ball in his possession as his elbow and body hit the ground and then squirted out. I never said it would have made a difference. The Saints turned it over, the Bears didn't. The Bears defense was great, I have said that too. I just, eh, can't see a team having one penalty the entire game. It bothers me. Again, wouldn't make a difference, because the Bears dominated. It again, still bothers me.
Well here's to next year, oh and hopefully the Bears win the SB.

No matter how many games we win, people never think we are good. It's stupid. What more do you want from the bears. They went 13-3, NFC Champs, Super Bowl bound, and one of the stingiest defenses around......all i have to say is wait for the big game.

Is anyone else sick of the Patriots? There is not another team in the NFL than I hate but the freakin Patriots...
If they beat Peyton, I hope Chitown kicks their ass. If they win another Super Bowl, it's going to be all the "DYNASTY DYNASTY DYNASTY" talk and it will get to be so annoying it is mentioned more than TO.

I'd rather talk about a Pats dynasty than T.O. myself.

I hate the Patriots, but since I hate the Colts and the Bears more, I root for them... and you must admit it, damn are they good or what.

argh I'm late for the celebration but sorry I was at my friend's house gloating in his face, because he's a 49ers fan and said the Saints would smash us today. The game was good on our part. Rex Grossman didn't have to win the game for us, and he also didn't have an turnovers so that was great. The defense caused 4 turnovers, and I was happy about the kickoff call even though it looked like he was down to me.
Jones and Benson were great running the ball, but in the Super Bowl we have to give Thomas Jones more carries then Benson. He's more explosive then Benson even though Benson does a better job of breaking tackles.
I'm hoping we get to play the Patriots because we had a great chance of beating them last time, as we lost by 4 when Rex Grossman went 15-34 171 yards and 3 INTs, so if he played like he did today, about .500 with no turnovers, and our defense would play like we did in the 1st and 4th quarters we would have a great shot at winning the Super Bowl.

The "ESPN Experts Know Nothing" Theorem is coming into play here. Only Theismann and Allen picked the Pats.
But Accuscore is doing a great job this week. Computers ARE smarter than us.
Oh, and I don't really mind the Pats. It's not their fault the media rides them like crazy. Hey, if you hate the Pats because of media attention, you can't like the Colts much more, considering the media's obsession with Peyton Manning.

I like the Pats, just because they win with only one really big name guy. The Pats defense won't be fun with the two week break between the SB.
I hope the Pats win though, just don't care much for Indy.

Glad that the Bears won. They were easily the best team in the NFC all season.
I hope Indy finds a way to make this a game.

Jabars feet were out of bounds before he even tried to catch that ball. I'm watching NE grab facemasks and hold receivers arms, and its not being called. That should have been clear enough to realizing he's sitting out of bounds. Rules state, a player is ineligible to come back into the field of play once leaving.
This is the same ref that called the incomplete pass on Bert Emanuel when Tampa Bay played St. Louis in the 99-00 Championship game.
Should have figured...
