He could be up on the block soon. I hope the Wiz try and get some fair game up here.

The Timberwolves would be absolutely idiotic to trade KG and not Wally Szczerbiak. Try matching his salary, too...I triple dog dare you.

He's they're franchise player...why would they want to put him on the block?

As crazily ridiculous it sounds, they might have to soon enough. He's becoming increasingly frustrated with the Timberwolves and the relationship could become a rather messy one.
Remember, nobody thought Shaq was tradeable and the salaries were unmatchable as recent as the beginning of June, 2004. But look what happened.

Eh, I don't think KG has that big of a prob with the Wolves to miss a function on purpose, even tho they lost Spree and Cassell. Its just not in his nature to me

Trade Wally Szczerbiak. Problem solved. KG and Wally don't get along at all.

There's no way the Wizards will get him. No way.

There's no way the Sixers will catch em, either.

There's no way the Sixers will catch em, either. I don't want him, because it would mean trading Andre Iguodala and far more valuable first round picks for a guy that won't be around in 15 (hell, maybe even 10) years time. I'd rather suffer through mediocre teams for half a decade than get that final piece now and say "well, we can win this season, but our future is a question mark". To sum it up, no KG for me. EDIT: While I'm not opposed to having Garnett on this team, I feel he's not worth trading away all of our future talent for.

^^^ But if the Sixers COULD keep Iggy, AI, AI, and KG would be the hungriest team ever, not to mention championship calibur. Even if KG would only stay for 5 years (contract expiration or something) it'd be worthi it...

If Philly kept Iguodala and only had to trade away A.I. and maybe a few others, I'd take Garnett.

Wouldn't Garnett's mega contract be ridiculously hard to match in a trade, though? That's probably the only thing keeping the Timberwolves front office from being flooded with offers. I'd also imagine they'd only trade him to a team in the East, which would make the East that much tougher. Since fat contracts and mortaging futures would have to be involved, I imagine he'll end up being a Knick since Isiah Thomas wouldn't be afraid to trade away the Knicks' future in exchange for more salary cap hell. Something like Jamal Crawford, Nate Robinson and NY's first round picks for the next 5 years.

I'd be all for KG man. One of the best players in the game..would be a huge addition to the team and he'd be back with old buddy Stephon Marbury.

It could be worse...he could end up on the Lakers for Lamar Odom or something.

I've thought about it, and really the only feasible destination for KG would be New Jersey. The Nets would have to give up Jason Kidd, Nenad Krstic, Antoine Wright (or approximately $4-5M cash), and the Clippers' first-round selection in 2006, which is UNPROTECTED. Minnesota could toss in Nikoloz Tskitishvili for salary purposes if needed.

Well, I don't see anything going down until at least January, so whatever.
