That sucks for Van Gundy... I hope everything within his family is resolved (or so they say its his family)
Riley is a good coach but can he do anything with this team..

If you can't control your players' egos, the good lord Jesus Christ can't get your team to the playoffs from the sidelines.
The key word there is IF, and that's a huge if right now, because the Heat are definitely in disarray.

WHAT exactly were they thinking with Antoine Walker? I haven't gotten into the swing of the NBA season yet, but anytime I see a Heat boxscore I see Walker shooting like 5 for 17.

This Heat roster right now benefits the Wizards so much. If only, if only some refs gave us some calls. The count now is 4 games we blew due to crappy officaiating, including last night's Heat game for those who watched.
I swear if Gil Arenas was as respected by the refs as say LeBron JAmes, we'd have a better record. Last night, Shaq fell on Gil and no call. He was down for about 6 seconds.

Cry about it... when you guys have something similar to a Phantom Goal or a forward lateral happen to you that ruins your season, then you can *****. But nobody cares that your team can't win because a ref makes ONE bad call, and they always usually end up balancing out. If your team was good enough, you wouldn't have to worry about bad calls, which I'd assume are just a bit exagerated, to say the least. |

Uhh no you dont have a clue what I'm saying. If LeBron drives and he's nailed in the paint by an elbow, it's a definite foul. If Gil does that, he'll end up on the ground with no call and the opposition going the other way. That's basketball. Refs will give the calls to the respected players.
