Even with a great game 5, tthe finals still suck. go refs!! Shutup... they haven't sucked by any means. In my opinion, the NHL playoffs have been much more exciting than the NBA playoffs, but that doesn't mean they suck... |

They already planned the parade for Friday. Our news is obsessed. Instead of getting real news at 6 we were watching the Heat plane land from Dallas and then we had to watch Shaq get off the plane. I think it's just ridiculous.

I think it's just ridiculous. Imagine it in a city where the championship team is the only major athletic team... the plane arriving home is nothing, how about having the plane tracked on it's flight home - but then again in this city there isn't much else Congrats to Miami - I found myself pulling for them because of having to spend time with Dallas fans in the past few weeks |

Calling the Mavs losers is absolutely ridiculous. Yes the Heat beat the Mavs and were the better team in the last 4 games of the series, but Nowitzki was hardly a choker - he wasn't used to going up against Miami's front line - the same front line that swallowed up so many teams this year thanks to Shaq. Dallas could have just as easily won the series, so stfu.

Josh Howard is still improving, and Devin Harris has taken some giant steps during the playoffs. Also Marquis Daniels is slowly getting better, just look at last night. |

Must be nice - I'm stuck at work :-) and this isn't a contest or anything... but I know the parade in 05 was on.... 9 channels? Local ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, WB, then the 24 hour news station, then 3 spanish channels.... I went to the parades in 99 and 03 but I'm pretty sure it was always the same.... Once again, when the spurs are the only thing we have, it's everywhere. I know all of the surrounding cities showed them too... austin, corpus, laredo, etc. The UT championship ceremony in Austin for football this january was only shown online and on the cable-news channel because of an exclusive agreement UT has with Time Warner Plus a parade on the river doesn't get any better.... SA has always got to find someway to be original |
