Sidney Ponson has absolutely no ability to hold things together. So yes, it IS laughable. Also, muchos gracias Cerrano, I had forgotten about this. It's much easier to hate the Yankees, though, when they're actually playing decent baseball. And when Spartan is more active in here.

It's a minor league deal...and I don't get this. Everyone bitches about them when they go and be greedy shits and buy who everyone else can't, but when they go for something cheap on the market just to POSSIBLY hold things together for a little bit, it's laughable? What were they supposed to do, trade for C.C.? No thanks. I'll take the losses for cheaper thank you. Cheap, but he sucks balls. Do you forget his last stint with the Yankees? Or his entire career of sucking forget for one season.

My point was that he was signed to a minor league deal so it's not even necessarily happening as far as him being called up and if he is, I'll take the loss, or at least an average enough outing for the offense to overcome. You talk like the Red Sox aren't in bad shape...Bartolo Colon? And now he's hurt. You know those kids of yours are gonna hit a rough point, then what? Manny and JD Drew gonna carry the team despite crap pitching?

Isn't Matsuzaka supposed to be back next week? Boston will be fine.

Crap pitching? We have a team ERA of 3.84, BAA .243, .697 OPS, 1.33 WHIP, and 40 QS. None amazing numbers, but all in the top 5 in the AL.
And Bartolo Colon has actually pitched well. And done things in his major league career. Like win a Cy Young.

Cerrano, do you read? I was clearly talking about upcoming, not what has already happened. We already know what your overrated staff's done thus far.
