Well, I have to give Buffalo their due. The Sabres were simply too fast for us and our youth showed through the entire time. Esche was pretty bad between the pipes but I can't blame him ... there was absolutely no protection for him throughout this series. Losing Johnsson and Primeau was critical. It seems like the Flyers could never get back in a groove once those two guys took off the skates.

Yeah, OK, come in and rub it in. I admit defeat. No need to give me a hard time.
I'm not very pleased about how the series went, we didn't play good enough, plain and simple. We ran into a hot goalie. But that doesn't mean you have to come in and give me a hard time about my incorrect predictions.

God I hate Montreal. Good riddance to them.
Note: If you bleed Toronto blue and white...you don't like Montreal. It's simple.

The one thing that made me mad about the Flyers was they changed their game plan throughout the season. The first half of the year, they were always on the attack, than in the second half, they tried to win the game from the neutral zone. C'Mon Hitchcock, you're smarter than that.

Crazy game going on right now. Buffalo @ Ottawa, 6-6 heading into OT.
Sabres scored with 1:45 to tie it, Senators took the lead with 1:21 and the Sabres tied it with :14 remaining.
