Dwayne Roloson reportedly out for the rest of the series. Edmonton's done. Got no one to blame but the blockhead who shoved Ladd into him.

OH MY GODThat was the most stupid, halfwitted, idiotic, retarded, moronic, dense, dumbwitted, and ridiculuos play I have ever seen anyone make in my entire life!!!!!!!!Stupid ass Marc-Andre Bergeron (who is BTW the worst player in the NHl besides Tom Poti) made the defining play in his sad excuse for a hockey career. He just put out the odds on fav for the Conn Smythe with on of the most retarded plays I have ever seen. He threw Andrew Ladd, who BTW didn't even have control of the puck and was NOT GOING TO SCORE, into the net right on top of his own goalie. WHAT A MORON!!!!!!!!!!!!! What in the world was he thinking? "Oh well this guy probably isn't going to score but I better take him out, oh and I think I will injure our star goalie in the process, too." Thanks Bergeron. The only bright side to this is the fact that maybe now people will finally admit to the fact that Bergeron was one of the worst defenceman in the History of the NHL (and I say "was" cause someone from Edmonton has prob already killed him) and not stick up for a midget who can't play defense, can't hit the net with his shot, can barely play with anyone over 5'8", and who INJURES THE ODDS-ON FAV FOR THE CONN SYMTHE. It is a good thing I dont know where you live Bergeron cause I would egg your house, crap on your lawn, and kick your dog you stupid jackass. Anyway back to the game after the Bergeron debacle. WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS TY CONKLIN DOING? It looks like Bergeron disease of idiocy, tomfoolery and hooliganism (yep I said it) has become violently contagious to the point where a FREAKIN HORRIBLE BACKUP GOALIE THINKS HE IS CURTIS F'N JOSEPH. What is wrong with these Oilers. First off the blew a three-goal lead (which for them is a new all-time low, especially since it's the Finals), then Bergeron becomes handicapped in a single play, and then they tie it (on a very nice goal BTW) only to let TY FREAKIN CONKLIN to handle the puck behind his net. BTW yet another Smith giving the other team a goal. (for those who don't know what I'm talking about: www.answers.com/topic/steve-smith-hockey-player)Well, I guess there's always next year. Oh wait never mind the Oilers won't be back in this situation for another deacde at least.

TOUGH loss for the Oilers. Sucks for Roloson. He could have had one of the greatest performances by a rookie goalie, shared with Cam Ward, but now it looksl ike 6-2 games are coming our way...

Roloson's not a rookie. He was starting for Minnesota and I'm sure is in his mid-30s....unless you're talking about first time in the Finals, but still, that can't be one of the best.
And simmer, Jay. It's a freaking game.
Although why they couldn't have had this mental breakdown in the Detroit series is beyond me.

Bah I don't know what I was thinking when I said that... all these rookie goalies and I got confused...
And DB, you'd really be one to tell someone to simmer down for a game...

Well Cowlishaw (probably the only NHL guy on ESPN that I have any respect for) said on ATH that he still expects the Oilers to "win some games". I think he was just saying that to try and make it look like the other idiots on that show that know nothing about hockey seem stupid, but I'm not sure how many "some" is... I don't think Carolina will sweep, because Edmonton has too much heart to go down that easy, but any more than one would be very pleasant from an outsider fan point of view...

Lets see how a championship team plays with a 3-0 lead.

Thought on last night's game...
Markkanen did not have a bad game. The defense sucked (which I'll mention later) and Carolina had at least 3 (or prolly 4) real nice shots that went in. I got real nervous watching him come out of the net. The OLN guys said that it was a sign of an aggressive goalie, which was good in their mind. From my view, it looked like he was lost. If he stays in goal, keep him in goal. There's no need to take a chance like that and have your goalie 10 feet out of the net.
Carolina is the faster team. They caused turnovers and blocked shots, and then just completely skated the opposite direction at full speed. If you don't believe me, just look at Ladd's goal in the 1st...
Bergeron (and quite a few other Oilers defensemen) flat out SUCKED. They were exposed last night. They were used to having a great goalie in Roloson save their asses, and now with an inexperienced goalie, they got burned. On Ladd's goal, Bergeron played it terrible. On a 2-on-2, the guy covering the man with the puck should not be skating off, giving the shooter a wide open shot at the goalie.
The Oilers didn't have a great offense, but still give credit to Cam Ward. He made some nice saves, and played solid for 60 minutes.
A few of the penalties called (especially early on) were really questionable for both sides. Some hooks were definitely clean, but were called. But hey, at least it went both ways.
Anyways, I still think Edmonton has a shot at winning a game. But sadly, it won't go further than that...

I am an total, utter dibelief at how horribly the Oilers played in that game. I mean I just dont even want to talk about. I was seriously on the verge of tears because I knew they blew their one chance to make a name for themselves and for this city. And I know, I know they still have a shot and I shouldn't give up all hope and I haven't but if they continue play the way they did last night this could get ugly really quickly.
BTW my predication is either Ward, Brind'Amour, or Pronger for the Smythe this year. Who do you guys think will win it?

Brindamour's face-off ability has been invaluable, let alone the key goals he is able to score or create. Right now he has to be the frontrunner.

actually I was thinking back and another guy that has stood out is Stillman he has been quite good.
On a side note I know 4 players currently on either team in the Finals:
1. Mike Commodore - he was born in my hometown, his my mom is the principal at my old high school and I once played shinny hockey against him (needless to say I got destroyed)
2. Ray Whitney - another guy from Fort Saskatchewan (just outside E-Town), and my sis used to dance for the company that his wife owns.
3. Cam Ward - my sis went to school with and her friend is good friends with him, and I went to school with his sister (BTW she's a whore)
4. Kyle Brodziak - his rook and isn't playing but he is on the oilers. My sis's boyfriend of a year and half is best friends with. They hang out all the time at his house in fact. (BTW his house is huge and his girlfriend is unbelievable)

no, and I never would want to. If you saw her you would know that noone in their right state of mind (meaning sober) would want to tap that unless of course you were very desperate which I wasn't in high school. I mean she isn't as ugly or groos as some of the others in my school, but you have to look at the whole package.
