That was an obvious high stick and Chris Phillips' empty-netter was honestly the luckiest goal i've seen in a long time.

I don't know why but I just got a flashback to the Legion of Doom days with Lindros, Leclair and Renberg. And I just realized: All those guys amounted to exactly nothing not too long after their break up.

If the Flyers can do that to the Ducks, then maybe not everyone, but at least good teams should be able to expose Anaheim. Great game by Philly. They still had plenty of defensive lapses, but that ten minute span is one one of the greatest this season. Should be interesting to see how they do against Garon/Cloutier tonight...

I don't like Cloutier, but come on, Crawford's the man. He was the one with coaching strategies in NHL 99 with Eric "I refuse to keep my head up" Lindross on the cover...

I can't help but snicker at the 5 game losing streak Detroit is on... just when I thought they were coming around...
You guys need to make some changes right now if you want to stop the Preds... cause your offense right now is dreadful.

I think you can get used to a very streaky team at this point...our players are pretty much either too old or too young, with the exception of guys like Zetterberg and Datsyuk.
We can beat anyone on any given night, and we can get blown out by anyone on any given night. We're a strange team.

I was sold on a failure in Motown when they decided Dominik Hasek was a better goaltending option than Manny Legace. Or anyone else for that matter.

Actually, it's been proven that pretty much any goalie can do well in Detroit. Their defense is so dominant. Just by looking at the stats, there's been countless times this season already that Hasek has made well under 20 saves. I think he might have only hit the 30 mark once...
But guys like Zetteberg and Datysuk need to pick up this team...
