The Philly Inquirer (talk about 3rd party) says it's a "lock" he goes to San Jose. They say nothing to back it up and I've yet to see anything else proving that. If Drury goes, however, it seems like it's an absolute lock we resign Briere, although it'll be costly. From what I'm making out of it, we have a better chance resigning Briere than risking trying to let him go and bring back Drury.

Philadelphia was trying hard to get Drury. That is not the final word, but I think it is a good idea. It sucks, I don't want him to go there.

A little back on topic, the Preds are apparently in talks with Kansas City and Sprint Center officials to get a deal done on moving the team. This rumor has more legs then the Pittsburgh idea of a few months back.

The proposed bill that would open the door has to pass through the state. If it doesn't now, it is in crunch time during the next meeting. I don't see why it would hold up, but you never know. There are some assholes here in Pennsylvania.
