how can you miss Icky Thump? I don't like The White Stripes? I'd have to listen to the whole album for me to rank it, and I'm not sure I'd want to sit through that  The Good Life is going to be a classic album, Tim Kasher is easily the best lyricist right now, and is in fine form. |

I don't buy albums or anything since I can just get the songs I like on LimeWire, but Icky Thump was an exception, due to it's extreme awesomeness.

Perhaps I'll have to sit down with Icky Thump and give it a listen.
I've been working on writing a ton of material lately, and while I have a MySpace/PureVolume up with a Death Cab cover for now, I think I'll wait until I've got some original stuff up to post the link.

Apparently a Led Zeppelin reunion is looking more and more likely. I read a report today from a radio station in the UK that instead of Jason Bonham drumming for them, they would go with Dave Grohl. I would enjoy seeing Grohl's name there, but I don't know how good he would be with it. Either way though, Zeppelin reunion is good.

I have listened to 50, Kanye, and Chamillionaire today and I may be biased because Chamillionaire's been my favorite rapper for awhile, but his album is the only one I'm buying. At this point I'm leaning towards Kanye West having the better album over 50, but both are pretty good. I think I will have to give both more of a listen for a final decision, though. I'm pumped about Chamillionaire's album though, I've followed him for awhile. Mixtape Messiah 2 & 3 were both very good as well.

Lately I've been looking into Serj Tankian's new LP 'Elect The Dead'. I've listened to some 'System Of A Down' with my one friend and always found it interesting. It should be interesting to see the outlook Serj has on an album he has complete creative control over.
EDIT: After one listen through, I enjoyed Foo Fighters 'Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace' a lot. NOt the ordinary Foo Fighters.
