Vikings sneak past UtahClarett almost helps cause upset<left>Derek Donaldson, the new and improved Michael Vick?<right> The Hogs defense can't tackle Halfback Chester Taylor... suprise, suprise.(0-10) UTAH – 21 (6-4) MINNESOTA – 31 Minneapolis, MIN (AP)---This Sunday Maurice Clarett did the impossible. He ran the ball for nearly 100-yards. With an offensive line like Utah’s it would be hard for Barry Sanders to rush for 50-yards. Clarett had 2 TDs and 91 yards along with a catch. The Hogs once again stayed with a team. They held with the Vikings all the way up until the 4th quarter when Adrian Peterson rushed for a 14-yard run and then Minnesota topped things off with a 41-yard field goal by Ryan Longwell with 1 minute left in the fourth. Another interesting fact is that the defense played well allowing only 256 total yards and 131 yards total rushing. The Hogs truly were in the game the whole time and for the first time this season actually looked like a football team. Hopefully they can keep this up as they travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs for the second time this season. Utah’s defense will have to keep up playing well on defense because the Chiefs are currently ranked 2nd in rushing offense. HOGS STATS QB Derek Donaldson – 12-26, 123 yards, 3 carries, 28 yards, TD HB Maurice Clarett – 25 carries, 91 yards, 2 TDs, 1 Catch HB Amos Tyson – 1 carry, 6 yards, 2 catches, 23 yards WR Edgar Harris – 3 catches, 40 yards WR “Fancy” Lonnie Kindrey – 2 catches, 18 yards DE Keith Jackson – 5 tackles, sack LB Tom Burke – 4 tackles, FF CB Joe Dickey – 4 tackles
VIKINGS STATS QB Brooks Bollinger – 5-11 128 yards, 2 TDs HB Chester Taylor – 17 carries, 86 yards, TD FB Tony Richardson – 4 carries, 27 yards HB Adrian Peterson – 2 carries, 18 yards, TD WR Bobby Wade – 3 catches, 68 yards, TD WR Aundrae Allison – catch, 49 yards, TD CB Mike Doss – 7 tackles LB Chad Greenway – 5 tackles DT Kevin Williams – 3 tackles, Sack

Accidentally simmed the next weeks games(0-11) UTAH – 10(5-6) Chiefs - 35<left>Amos Tyson converts on 3rd and long after making some nice moves... but he forgets the ball.<right>Tom Burke pressured the young Brodie Croyle.I played the game but then I finished and simmed the next weeks games so I lost all the statistics for the game. All I remember is that Clarett played good and it was a relatively close game. Sorry.

Hogs get slapped back into RealityHendricks and Donaldson combine for 7 INTs<left>Brandon Marshall continues right where he left off last in Week 2. <right> Fancy tries to make something happen with a little "Shake n' Bake"... but he fails.(9-3) DENVER – 55 (0-12) UTAH - 6 Salt Lake City, UT (AP)--- The co-AFC West division leaders showed Utah what being the best really is. Jay Cutler harassed the Hog’s defense through the air once again going 5 for 8 with 205 yards and 4 touchdowns. Three of those touchdown passes went to whom else but Brandon Marshall. Marshall caught 4 passes for 159 yards and of course the 3 touchdowns. Marshall outplayed his first performance when him and Cutler hooked up 3 times for 145 yards and 3 touchdowns in Week 2. “I just have fun out there. I don’t really know how this happened twice. I guess it comes from good practice and hard studying throughout the week. I mean I might just be the next Jerry Rice out there.” Marshall said sarcastically when asked how he performed that well twice. There now seems to be a quarterback controversy in Utah. Derek Donaldson was taken out early in the 2nd quarter after throwing 4 interceptions. Hendricks played much better throwing for 121 yards but he threw 3 interceptions. His interceptions were all towards the end of the game when he tried to force things and when his receivers. Nobody really knows what to expect for next week when the Hogs travel to Green Bay to take on the 4-7-1 Packers. We will keep you updated with everything we possibly can. BRONCOS STATS QB Jay Cutler – 5-8, 202 yards, 4 TDs HB Travis Henry – 22 carries, 125 yards, 2 TDs WR Brandon Marshall – 4 catches, 159 yards, 3 TDs WR Javon Walker – 1 catch, 43 yards, TD K Jason Elam – 2/2 FG, 7/7 XP, Long 19 SS Nick Ferguson – 5 tackles, 2 INTs CB Champ Bailey – 3 tackles, Sack, 2 INTs CB Karl Paymah – 2 tackles, 2 INTs
HOGS STATS QB Sam Hendricks – 11-28, 121 yards, 3 INTs, tackle QB Derek Donaldson – 4-14, 61 yards, 4 INTs, 1 carry, 13 yards, tackle HB Maurice Clarett – 11 carries, 18 yards, 5 catches, 54 yards, tackle, FF WR “Fancy” Lonnie Kindrey – 3 catches, 59 yards K/P Raeshon Grandmont – 2/2 FG, 38 long LB Tom Burke – 6 tackles, 2 sacks DE Chris Morales – 3 tackles, sack

Bdes says: “Donaldson will remain starter.”Owner bdes ends all QB controversy questionsDonaldson needs to step it up.Salt Lake City, UT (AP)--- “Yes, Derek [Donaldson] has been having quite a difficult year but that doesn’t mean he will lose his spot at Quarterback. There is a lot more to his failure then everyone sees. The Wide Receivers are missing quite a few passes; some linemen are missing their blocks. People need to realize that our failure is not all caused by our Quarterback and Coaches. They are doing quite a good job in my opinion.” Bdes said when asked if Sam Hendricks would start against the Packers. It seems bdes is pleased with Donaldson’s play, but whose fault could he think the teams failure is on, if anyone?

Hogs pleased… that the game is overUtah gets their head’s smashed in by Green Bay via ground<left>Edgar Harris arguably had his best game this season.<right>Tom Burke "Lays the Smackdown" on Brandon Jackson.(0-13) UTAH – 7 (5-7-1) GREEN BAY – 46 Green Bay, WIS (AP)--- Brandon Jackson is the newest Halfback to join the nearly 300-yard rushing game against Utah’s weak defense. The rookie Brandon Jackson rushed for 296-yards on 25 attempts with 3 TDs. Jackson did get some licks taken to him by Linebacker Tom Burke. Burke led the Hogs with 4 tackles and a forced fumble. His forced fumble was the winner of Monday Night Countdown’s “Jacked UP”. “Hey, we needed something to be proud about… I guess.” Owner bdes told the press. “We are just going to start a building process this off-season. The way things are going we will most likely get the first pick in the draft so things will start there.” It seems Utah has given up all hope for this season and is just focused on the off-season. There really isn’t anything new to say about their game against Green Bay but they need desperately to get a new defensive system along with some new players. The Hogs should be worried about next weekend as they take on the World Champion Indianapolis Colts. HOGS STATS QB Derek Donaldson – 18-33, 220 yards, TD, 2 INTs, 2 carries, 18 yards QB Sam Hendricks – 0-1, 0 yards HB Maurice Clarett – 11 carries for 18 yards, 6 catches, 75 yards WR Caz Dotson – 4 catches, 53 yards WR Edgar Harris – 3 catches, 42 yards, TD WR “Fancy” Lonnie Kindrey – 3 catches, 35 yards K/P Raeshon Grandmont – 1/1 XP LB Tom Burke – 4 tackles, FF SS Marquez Russell – 4 tackles CB Chris Williams – 2 tackles, INT
PACKERS STATS QB Brett Favre – 7-12, 200 yards, 3 TDs, INT HB Brandon Jackson – 25 carries, 296 yards, 3 TDs WR Ruvell Martin – 2 catches, 129 yards, 2 TDs TE Bubba Franks – 2 catches, 33 yards, TD K Dave Rayner – 1/1 FG, Long 42, 5/6 XP LB A.J. Hawk – 6 tackles LB Brady Poppinga – 2 tackles, Sack

Rivers rows down Hogs defensePhilip Rivers throws for 5 TDs in final game of Hogs season<left>Bdes, please get this guy some protection.<right>LT = MVP?(11-5) SAN DIEGO – 38 (0-16) UTAH – 6 Salt Lake City, UT (AP)--- “It will be our tradition, we will wear our all black uniforms on the our last home game every year. We need some sort of spark.” Owner bdes said as he told the press he is trying to start a new tradition in Utah. You couldn’t tell there was a tradition made as Philip Rivers picked apart the Hogs defense through the air with 254 yards and 5 touchdowns. With that loss the Chargers have claimed a first place in the AFC West as well as home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. On the other hand the Utah Hogs inaugural season has ended at 0-16. With that said the Hogs will now possess the NFL Drafts first round pick. “I will definitely be working non-stop this off-season trying to improve our team. I will be looking for well rounded defensive players, and speed.” Hogs owner bdes will have a lot of work to do this off-season and he will need to start as soon as he can. SAN DIEGO STATS QB Philip Rivers – 24-37, 254 yards, 5 TDs HB LaDainian Tomlinson – 34 carries, 177 yards, 5 catches, 20 yards, 2 TDs WR Eric Parker – 5 catches, 40 yards WR Malcom Floyd – 3 catches, 28 yards, TD TE Antonio Gates – 7 catches, 93 yards K Nate Kaeding – 1/1 FG, 39 Long, 5/5 XP LB Al Wilson – 5 tackles, 4 sacks LB Shawne Merriman – 5 tackles

well have fun with the #1 pick...should be a qb To be honest I see potential in Donaldson. I think getting a someone on defense would be a better pick. My defense is awful. does Maurice Clarett lead in rushing and receiving? Haha, yes he does and hes not even that good either.
