Dude… Where is McFadden?Utah desperately needs their star<left>Brian Brohm tried to make a point that the Hogs messed up by overlooking him in the Draft.<right>Utah proved once again that they couldn't stop the run.(1-2) ATLANTA – 40 (0-3) UTAH - 10 Salt Lake City, UT (AP)--- In a game that most NFL analysts said could possibly be the Hog’s first franchise win, it surely went the other way. The game started with a touchdown for the Falcons off and interception from Donaldson. Donaldson’s wounds continued with 2-interceptions going 2 for 5. To make things worse for Derek he got taken out shortly after that and Grossman looked nearly flawless. Well, not really. Grossman looked flawless when compared to Donaldson. Grossman threw for a touchdown as well as an interception. His touchdown pass was a screen to Kenton Keith and it was the Hogs first of the season. “People need to realize that this is a team out here. We may be 0-3, but we still are a team. I am not going to rag on Derek or anyone for that matter. I’m just here to win this team some football games.” Halfback Kenton Keith said after being asked if he thought Rex Grossman would start next week. The Hogs defense played right were they left off last season allowing Jerious Norwood to run for 221 yards and 2 touchdowns. That’s more then they let last season’s MVP, LaDainian Tomlinson have. “We just need to get our heads back into the game. We are just not playing to our full potential. Right now at this moment I’m focusing on next weeks game against the Patriots. They are a great team and if we play like we did today against them, we will be in deep trouble.” Rookie Defensive Tackle Glenn Dorsey said. FALCONS STATS QB Brian Brohm – 11-18, 189 yards, TD, INT HB Jerious Norwood – 24 carries, 221 yards, 2 TDs, catch, 11 yards HB Warrick Dunn – 4 carries, 10 yards WR Laurent Robinson – 4 catches, 45 yards TE Alga Crumpler – 2 catches, 71 yards, TD K Alexis Serna – 4/4 FG, 35/52/40/24, 4/4 XP CB Chris Houston – 7 tackles, INT DE John Abraham – 6 tackles, 2 sacks DE Simeon Rice – 5 tackles, 4 sacks CB DeAngelo Hall – tackle, 2 INTs, TD

Grossman can’t do much betterRex Grossman throws 4 interceptions in grueling defeat<left>1 of Wooden's 2 interceptions of the game.<right> Scrawny get's a touchdown.(2-2) NEW ENGLAND – 52 (0-4) UTAH – 10 Salt Lake City, UT (AP) --- All week the talk was terrible about the Hogs. Saying that they will be lucky to win a game this decade and that bdes is doing nothing with the Hogs, saying they are a “joke”. Bdes took great offense to this and got back at the press by saying that he would not disclose any details about this week’s game. Including the hot topic of the NFL, Utah’s quarterback controversy. The Hogs haven’t had much offense this season. Including this game the offense has but up only 14 points. Bdes thought that he could add a compliment to the struggling offense by starting Rex Grossman, but it failed as well. Grossman threw one touchdown and had a pretty good game. But dropped passes and fumbled balls would be the story of this game. Surprisingly Ron Rivera’s new modified 3-4 has helped the defense. “It’s hard for my defense to perform not only on the field but also on the stat sheet while our other coaches aren’t on the same page. I mean you got Ambrose Wooden playing out of his mind with 2 interceptions on arguably the best Quarterback of the current day while our offense is going for it in our own red zone.” Defensive Coordinator Ron Rivera said. It seems that not only the team is growing apart but also now it is fueling the coaching staff… not good. So after next game I get Darren McFadden back. I'm pretty excited.
I would appreciate any comments, questions, or suggestions. I'll try to update this either tomorrow around noon or Sunday.
Thanks, bdes

WE WIN!!!Todd Peterson kicks a 41-yard last second field goal for the win<left>Jamario O'Neal scores his first touchdown of two, to give the lead in the first.<right>Hogs tight end P.J. Reynolds lays out a Jaguar defender to give Ray Rice running room.(5-3) JACKSONVILLE – 27(1-6) UTAH - 30Salt Lake City, UT (AP) --- There is a saying, “defense wins championships” this game was a championship for the Hogs, and their defense won it for them, literally. Jamario O’Neal had two touchdowns; a fumble he forced, he returned, and then a returned one of his two interceptions. O’Neal played to his full potential and according to bdes he is one of the best defensive backs he has ever seen. “Who all saw Jamario O’Neal, is that one of the best Safeties you’ve ever seen in football; two interceptions, a forced fumble, and two touchdowns. Then Rex [Grossman] and Ray [Rice], how amazing did that duo play. And whose idea was it to sign them? Me.” An excited, wet, bdes said following the Hogs first franchise win. “And that [Jacksonville] was a hell of a good team. We are in 3rd in AFC West. Come on, we are amazing. We get Darren [McFadden] and Nate [Burleson] back next week for Tampa. I’m pumped.” The state of Utah is going crazy; their team has won a game! It seemed as if the struggling Utah Hogs could never win. Especially with their two star players, Darren McFadden and Nate Burleson, gone who would of thought. McFadden was expected to play but didn’t due after pains of his torn hamstring. He should be back for next week for the game against the Buccaneers. 2 in a row!The Bucs o-line gives up 9 sacks<left>With Rivera's new modified 4-3 the Hogs linebackers are constantly pressuring the quarterback.<right> Who woulda thought that Grossman would be kneeing the ball?(3-5) TAMPA BAY – 24(2-6) UTAH – 27Salt Lake City, UT (AP) --- A week after the Mormon state of Utah’s football team won its first pro-football game those Mormons never sinned so much. But after a second straight win by the Hogs; the sinning might just have begun. Ray Rice was this games player of the game breaking Maurice Clarett’s previous rushing yards record with 114 yards. Rice was also effective thru the air catching 7 passes for 168 yards also breaking Kindrey’s record of 118. “I could care-less, look at us, 2 in a row baby!” Fancy said when asked if he cared his record was broken. Rice was not the only Hog to have a good game; Rex Grossman threw for 266 yards on 32 passes with 3 touchdowns creating a new record in Hog history. And on the defensive side of the ball Linebacker Xavier Adibi had 5 sacks, which is also a new page in the Hog’s relatively new record book. Darren McFadden and Nate Burleson are still not back from their injuries. If you remember McFadden was supposed to come back in week 7, well now it is Week 9. Next week the Hogs will host their winless division rival the Kansas City Chiefs. If the Hogs manage to win this one and make it 3 in a row then Utah will have a good lead over the Chiefs in the AFC West. Changes made in KCHerm Edwards speaks up about his upcoming game in UtahWhat is this man thinking?Kansas City, KS (AP)--- In most cases 0-8 teams are completely out of the playoff race. Many teams that are out of the playoff race end the season trying new things and in this case that is exactly what Chiefs Head Coach Herm Edwards is going to do. “Dennis Dixon will be starting over Brodie Croyle and Maurice Clarett will be starting this game. He has been looking forward to facing his old team all season and it’s only fair I give him that chance.” Edwards said at a press conference this Tuesday. Clarett is averaging a mere average of 2.6 yard per carry to Larry Johnson’s 4.5 which makes the whole decision quite odd. Rumors have been swirling that Edwards is resigning following this season and reportedly moving on to coach the Baltimore Ravens. This information is not verified but could quite possibly be true. In Salt Lake City their star running back Darren McFadden is listed probable for this weekend along with wide-receiver Nate Burleson. “I want to take all precautionary steps before putting McFadden back on the field and we will just have to see how he does in practice this week.” Owner bdes said. McFadden was hurt in the second game of pre-season and has not been back all year; hopefully he can make his debut this weekend.
