Bears RelocatingDevin Hester is obviously confused..Chicago, IL (AP)--- It is devastating for a city when their team moves, but in this case the city may not care. It was announced earlier this week that after this up season, the Chicago Bears will not be known as the “Chicago” Bears, they will be known as the “Los Angeles” Bears. “I don’t really don’t know what is going on.” Bear’s star Devin Hester said when asked what the team thought about the whole or-deal. None really knows what to expect but one thing, 2008 is the end of the Chicago Bears era, and hopefully a new one will begin.

Hogs sign new Defensive Coordinator Monster of the Westway?Hey Ron, bring that smile to Utah, we don't got no smiles in Utah!Salt Lake City, UT (AP)--- This week the Hogs front office announced they had signed Defensive Coordinator Ron Rivera. Rivera previously was the D Coordinator for the Buffalo Bills. “I feel I can bring something to this defense that nobody else can. I have been talking to bdes recently and I feel great to say that we are both on the same page. I can’t wait for this season to start.” Rivera said. Hopefully Rivera can help this struggling defense especially against the run.

Bdes hates Pre-seasonYupBummer...Salt Lake City, UT (AP) --- It seems that bdes’s luck has started right where it left off last season after first round pick Darren McFadden went down in the last game of the pre-season. McFadden broke his hand and is expected to be out 7 weeks. The worst part is that McFadden, the Hogs best player, was not the only one to go down from a long-term injury but many others did too. Recently signed Wide Receiver, Nate Burleson, tore his hamstring also in pre-season and will miss 8 weeks. “I think Pre-season is just a risk for a teams starters. They don’t need to be risking their bodies weekly like the players trying to make the team; they should be learning the playbook. And I’m not just speaking for myself here; over in Miami they lost Joey Porter, in St. Louis they lost their starting quarterback Marc Bulger for the year. Yes, there is a lot worse then how I have it but this problem needs to be fixed.” The Hogs have signed Kenton Keith to a one-year deal worth $1.40M to help Ray Rice hold the running back slot until McFadden gets back.

tough break about McFadden..what type of rules did you employ during free agency? Yea it is tough. I control all 32 teams. It takes a hella long time but its a lot better that way. I'm not gonna go over 85. The difficult thing was getting everyone back. None wanted to resign with me cause they presige was so low so I had to sign them with other teams and trade them over. It took me about 3 hours to do this off-season and I'm happy its over.

Hogs make late additions Utah fills open spots
Salt Lake City, UT (AP)--- With all the recent injuries it seemed obvious that the Hogs would have to fill in those players spots. Recently signed punter, Dustin Colquitt, tore his bicep and will miss 8 weeks which is about the amount of time as McFadden. In order to fill this position Utah signed punter Todd Sauerbrun. Sauerbrun was previously was a previous member of the Broncos, Patriots, and Panthers.
And lastly, the Hogs desperately needed a returner-man after the loss of Nate Burleson. To fill this spot Utah signed former Texan, Bethel Johnson. Johnson will specialize in returning but is also expected to play the slot beside Fancy and Caz Dotson.

New Look Hogs surprise the NFLUtah stays with the World Champs<left>Who needs Darren McFadden when you got Kenneth Keith?<right>Chris Williams misses the pick and rookie Tight End Brandon Davis scores his first career TD and breaks the game open at the end of the 2nd.(1-0) NEW YORK – 17 (0-1) UTAH - 3 Salt Lake City, UT (AP) --- When the Hogs used their first round, first pick to sign Darren McFadden it was obvious that Utah would try to become a running type team. And even with McFadden gone the Hogs implied that message. Kenton Keith ran for 60 yards on 21 carries and looked really good. “I just put my head down and ran to be honest.” Keith said. Keith has only been with the team for two weeks previous to McFadden’s injury. But Ray Rice also looked good out there. Rice put up 14 yards on 2 carries and also a catch for 15 yard. The Hogs young defense also surprisingly looked good. Second round pick Jamario O’Neal led the team with 5 tackles followed by rookie Rodney Van. The only down spot of Utah’s game was the quarterback situation. Donaldson of course started the game but was taken out late in the 4th after only going 3 for 12 with 13 yards and an interception. Grossman came in on fire going 4 for 8 with 62 yards and nearly leading the Hogs to a drive that would put them down by a touchdown. But unfortunately he suffered a mild concussion and was out the rest of the game. Word is not known if Grossman will be out much longer or be out at all. All that is known is that the Utah Hogs looked like a real football team! JETS STATS QB Chad Pennington – 8-15, 163 yards, 2 TDs HB Thomas Jones – 15 carries, 79 yards TE Brandon Davis – 3 catches, 106 yards, 54 yards, 2 TDs WR Laveranues Coles – 2 catches, 15 yards WR Jerricho Cotchery – 1 catch, 33 yards K Mike Nugent – 1/1 FG, 37, 2/2 XP OLB Victor Hobson – 5 tackles FS Erik Coleman – 5 tackles LB Jonathan Vilma – 4 tackles, INT
