Apparantly it is the most celebrated graphic novel of alltime so hopefully they can translate it well to film and yeah bama with the amount of money this has pulled in already there will most likely be a third just for the fact that the studio will throw an obscene amount of money at bale/nolan to do it.

Also, The Dark Knight broke 200 million after yesterday. That is the quickest a movie has ever reached that mark. Also it was the best non-opening Tuesday on record, and the second best Tuesday overall besides Transformers which opened on a Tuesday. Only like what, $400 million to go to dethrone Titanic? |

I am beginning to think it may get there because for the most part people didn't see Titanic 2, 3 times because 1 time was boring enough. This movie so action-packed that you can pick up on things after a second or third viewing, plus there's the whole imax thing so basically people may end up seeing it 4 times in a couple weeks.

Titanic has a hit song that provided advertisement for the film after it's initial release, that's why it did so well for so long, I just don't think Batman will have that kind of momentum. It will reach a massive amount, but there is no hit single from the film.

Do you want to take a guess how many times single chicks saw that movie? How many times guys were dragged to it by their gals? Yeah, women made that movie huge. Yeah, saw the movie. And I actually didn't think it was the greatest movie I had ever seen, believe it or not. I just didn't get why it was so great. Maybe I expected more... I don't know.

definitely not the best movie ever. Best movie in the last 10 years? maybe. but there's no way it's better than the godfather or shawshank redemption.

I was not saying people were calling it the greatest movie ever. But I just didn't like the movie near as much as other people apparently did. I dunno, it just didn't do it for me. Maybe it was the fact that I felt so unbelievably depressed at the end. Or the fact that I saw it with a few people whose company I don't particularly enjoy. I dunno, I'll probably make myself see it again, or get forced to see it again. Maybe I'll like it more then.
But I am obviously wrong to think that this movie was not absolutely perfect in every way, and I'm sorry for being so goddamn ignorant.

Think some people had overly heightened expectations and were a bit disappointed and I think some people were just going to like it no matter what.

That being said, this is a great movie, but it is NOT The Godfather.
