I have quite the rage for the Godfather after what guidos and posers in general have done to it. It shouldn't take away from the movies, though. It's not the movies fault. People are just douchebags. Oh I know. Fine made films. It is just every time I watch one of them you think of the losers who try and emulate that or just pretend that it is all so badass and it pisses me off beyond belief. |

There's a difference between loving a movie and the best. Just because you don't love a movie doesn't mean it isn't a better piece of art. Because that is what a movie is afterall.

I doubt some ever will. My favorite are those who think Kurt Cobain was some great lyricist. I am almost certain at some point he admitted the lyrics weren't anything great. For me, Nirvana was more or less a band who did as they pleased. They didn't stay in the bounds set up and weren't afraid to say something. That is why I dig that band. |

I've seen probably over 400+ movies and in all different genres and I can say that its the best film I've ever seen. Is it the best for you? maybe not. Hence why we are created different, to have different opinions. I mean yes I haven't seen The Godfathers, or Goodfellas or Unforgiven, but I'm not saying that they're any bad I'm just saying they aren't my taste. But I've seen The Dark Knight 4 times and It's the best movie I've ever seen. Doesn't make me or anyone else less of a movie lover. |

don't even mention unforgiven god the movie was awful and not saying it's makes you less of a movie lover but saying this is better than the godfather or goodfellas is ridiculous opinion or not.

I'm saying it is... I never saw those because frankly I'm not a big fan of mafia movies. So to me its better than those. I mean I've seen citizen kane but i thought that movie was boring, horrible and the only reason people say its amazing is because they wanna sound smart. |

Most of the Citizen Kane praise I hear is for it's innovation. It's not that great of a film in terms of entertainment value. Trust me, I'm not planning on sitting through it again any time soon. I can understand how someone our age can say The Dark Knight is the best movie they've ever seen. It isn't for me, but it's the caliber of film that the average movie-goer could say it's the best film they've viewed.
