Missouri lost a 3-star TE commit, Ian Harris, to the 'Horns. What a shame.
He could have been playing by his redshirt freshman season at Mizzou. Now he'll ride the pine for 3-4 seasons at UT.

I'm not sold on Sidell being that good. Still very immature, and he's gonna get his butt kicked by either coach when he gets to school. He's got the physical skills though, as I watched the boy dominate Alabama 6-A Region 1 for the last three years or so. Got amazing backside pursuit too, I've seen him run down guys like a linebacker would. If he gets a good head on his shoulders, he will be a great player. It's kind of cool to remember back sophomore year I had religion with that kid. First time in a while McGill put out any big time prospects. I do have some friends who would be pretty good contacts on getting information from, so I may be able to break his final decision on here. That would be cool. ;D Even though I see him faking the caps on signing day. It won't be that easy to gauge. Well you would know more about him than me obviously, im just excited that we got Dunlap from Spurrier. Now if we can pull away Culliver from SC we'll really make a statement to em'. Plus, I cant stand being behind Tennessee in anything it just makes me sick, and currently according to rivals they have the #1 class.

I'd rather have Dunlap. He looks mighty impressive. Oh and I would hate to have Tennessee get the number one class. I hate them as bad as any UF fan, and of course we have to play em every year like you guys.
Look at the classes coming into the SEC this year. Most likely three top five classes in UF, LSU, and UT. Then you have Georgia, Auburn, and South Carolina bringing in good talent, and possibly Bama depending on how they finish. Ole Miss is somehow pulling in decent numbers. I mean right now, half of the SEC is in the top 10 on rivals!

Eddie O is a pretty damn good recruiter down in Oxford. I think the fact he coached at a top-flight program (USC) helps him.

Crazy Ed has to be pretty good, because there is no logical reason for them to get that kind of class. We're talking about two straight years having losing records. I don't know, something just feels fishy over in Oxford. Maybe it was him getting into the recording business. "Yaw Yaw Yaw Yaw, Yaw Yaw Football!"

The thing that scares me, is the fact that two teams that are in down periods, Illinois and Ole Miss, are on our schedule this upcoming season. The way that Orgeron and the Zooker are recruiting, it's going to be scary playing these guys next year.
I'm not so much concerned about Ole Miss, since our home and home is done with them after the 2007 season, but Illinois might become a power team in the Big 11.

The think with Zook is, he isn't a good coach. He'll waste the talent he is pulling in somehow, though they'll probably end up hitting a bowl or two in the upcoming seasons.

I think Daniel Herron, running back who commited to OSU, looks like a Mike Hart type of running back which I will like to see.

But we have Brandon Saine, a running back also committed to OSU, a Reggie Bush type of back which I would like to see.

Ohio State landed another committment. We got a linebacker from Glenville, a four star prospect. It's safe to say we have a pipeline established to Cleveland.

Bama picked up 4 star DE/DT Luther Davis (West Monroe, LA) today. He was originally an LSU commit but changed his committment today.
Bama has a few folks visiting this weekend, including S Michael McNeil (4 star, Mobile, AL). Next weekend though, Bama is hosting four kids from Southern Lab here in Baton Rouge, including S Chad Jones. There is also an outside shot at having both Noel Devine and Joe McKnight visiting Alabama that last weekend.
LSU has a big weekend too, hosting Joe McKnight, some 5 star athlete who's name I can't remember, and Sidell Corley (would be shocked if he ends up there, most likely going to end up a Gator IMO).
This is a fun time of year folks.

Robert Marve has downgraded Alabama to "Medium Interest" and now his top 3 are:
1. University of Miami 2. University of Hawaii 3. Alabama

I doubt you'll be able to wrestle him away from Da U.

I doubt you'll be able to wrestle him away from Da U. Probably won't but its a good feeling about the future if the way the seasons are going and the amount of publicity later down the line we can contend with recruiting the bigger name players
