Interesting to see Hawaii so high on his list, glad to see they are doing well on the recruiting front. The RoJo announcement for Michigan is coming tomorrow morning, supposedly...

Sidell Corley dropped his commitment to UF, so it's coming down to Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, and Oklahoma from what I have seen. This could get interesting on the LSU front, as he is going there the last weekend and his HS teammate is going to LSU (Phelon Jones).
Oh and Marve's going to Miami, I'm almost certain.

Bama, in todays paper, the news about Marve was that he is now not sure if he wants to go to UM. It said that he's not really sure as he was a few days ago. It did end up saying that UM on his list still was a slight #1 but Alabama was not out of it.

I'm just kind of going on what I'm hearing from Bama people on him. I would love to get him, because I think he's better than the other QB we picked up. I just don't think Saban's staff is as high on him as Shula was.

William Cole's high school teammate, Dezmon Briscoe, verballed to kU today.
Cole's likely going to go there too. What a waste. He's actually better off going to Texas because at least he'll have a quarterback who could get him the ball. Their QB, Kerry Meier, would likely be a backup on the other 11 Big 12 teams.
Kerry Meier plays for kU, by the way.

Alabama picked up a couple of recurits today, including a four star running back in Goode. We'll see how big of a weekend this was Tuesday, as I think Michael McNeil will be announcing his college decision. If he comes to Bama I will be very happy.
Also Noel Devine is making his offical visit to Bama tonight and tomorrow. That my friends would be a monster pick up for Alabama.

I hate Bama. Saban is a *any word for the male reproductive organ*.

I hate Bama. Saban is a *any word for the male reproductive organ*. I'm shocked you feel that way. Seriously, like, can't even begin to fathom why you feel that way. I have yet to understand the LSU rage though. You can quote me on this, LSU is in much better shape right now. Great recruiting classes every year, great fan support, and a pretty good coach on top of it. Bama is coming off probation, has had LSU beat us on and off the field (recruiting) for the last four years, and is really just trying to rebuild. The Saban lied thing doesn't hold water either. It just begs the question "why do you care?" Politicans lie every day, but a football coach changes his word and you'd think he had killed your puppy. Is it fear, you know that Bama might get good? Perhaps, but if Les Miles can just keep the status quo going LSU will be one of the nation's elite programs. Look at tigerdroppings, you folks are obsessed. It's unhealthy, and it's building up the notion in Bama people's heads that we are still a top program because of the USC like rage we're getting from LSU. It's amazing really, and actually quite humourus. On that note, Saban ($aban or Satan, whichever the reader prefers here) is going to lose us a few games next year on defense. We're not going to be build for his attacking style yet. Give him three years, and we'll at least be fighting with LSU and maybe Auburn for the SEC West and SEC titles. I'm not one of those that see Saban bringing in instant MNCs, because that not only takes amazing talent, but luck. That just doesn't come together every day. On that note, how cool would it be if LSU got McKnight and Bama lands Devine? We'd have two of the nation's top running backs against each other when the two of us meet. Then add the whole "LSU hate" and it will make for a very interesting match up. On that note, I can't wait for the game this year up in T-Town. I'm going to be there, and it will be good (you know, except the part about us probably getting beat). Good day Jeff, oh and quit with the cursing. Thanks.

I didn't curse.
And I stopped going to TD, well more got banned for saying something that was said to me daily. The admin staff over there were much like saban.
I don't care that saban went there its just the fact that he is lying to numerous LSU signee's that is bothering me and is bringing in guys that signed at LSU and having them recruit other LSU signees for him. Its just bothersome.

Lying to LSU signees how? I'm not going to lie, something does not feel right about going after LSU kids and trying to get them to Alabama. I just have not heard about him lying to these kids. Oh and you got banned? Funny place, because there are others there that have got to be worse than you. Anyway, here's to a good last week and a bit of recruiting.

Florida gets commit from Rivals Top 50 S Major Wright, and just got a visit from the top safety Jerimy Fitch who has a soft commit to Indiana currently.
According to rivals, we have the #1 class by far right now while waiting for decisions from a few other top players in the nation.

Well, the Buckeyes only have about 16-17 scholarships available this season, so we're focusing more on quality than quantity. I'm positive we've been able to land a few impact players this go 'round, most notably Brandon Saine, and Eugene Clifford. Clifford, you might recall, made two interceptions in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Saine, well, with all of my constant babbling about him, you should know everything you need to. And Leak, Florida sucks. You guys just had to wrestle Wright away from us, he was very close to wearing the scarlet and gray.

S Michael McNeil is going to the Barn up in Lee County.
I'm betting we will at least land 4 star Sidell Corley, but eh.....transition years are hard on programs.

I have to say, I am loving what we could have next year.
The state of Ohio is producing several of the nation's top offensive lineman, and nearly all of them has expressed Ohio State interest.

I'll post a preview of the southeast after NSD, but I'm liking what's going on for Alabama. You have Julio Jones, all world wide out from Foley HS, probably one of the top 2 or 3 wide outs in America. With Saban recruiting, it is sure to be a great year for Alabama, next year.

There is at least five offensive lineman in that state of Ohio that will be four star or above. Maybe two to three five stars. This is the best class of offensive lineman out of a single state I've seen in the past 5-10 years.
Edit: Also, there's a kid at Hopewell that would be a real steal for a number of Mid-Major Division I colleges. Chaz Green played linebacker in high school, but will most likely see most of his playing time at Defensive end. He checks in at 6'4, 240 pounds (Up 25 pounds from the year before), and runs a 4.68 40. Don't tell me that Mid-Major programs wouldn't love that. Although Scout lists Florida as his favorite, he has no offer from them, so he is likely headed to Marshall, if they extend an offer.

Bama, how bout those SEC schools? We're tearin up recruiting this year, and I can tell you this its going to be one hell of a task to win SEC titles in the future.

The SEC is going to be loaded with talent. UF isn't going anywhere with these last few classes, and ole Zook could recruit as well. Ole Fatlock up at Tennessee is pulling in a great class as well. What is it, like four East schools in the top ten? It's going to be a battle just to win the division. The West is starting to turn into the East of the 90s. Auburn and LSU are pulling in good classes every year, and ought to be fighting for the West until Alabama can get going. Bama's having a down year, but that transition is a tough one to make. Getting some good linebackers and defensive linemen is nice though. Oh and how about Ole Miss? They're pulling in some talent up in Oxford. The SEC is going to be very tough for the next four years, no doubt about it. You gotta feel bad for Arkansas though. The situation up there is so bad, the defensive coordinator's son is going to Auburn to play football. Amazing.
