Ok, he is a better pro-coaching prospect then Mr. Fun-And-Gun Spurrier. I agree that he should stay in College because he could be one of the greatest ever. Look at the job he is done in Bowling Green, Utah, and so far in Florida, its fantastic work.

Oklahoma pulled in 3 Parade All-Americans Who are your three Parade All-Americans? I just looked at your recruiting class, and it looks like Oklahoma is having a hard time finding the usual five star prospects it gets.

Ronald Johnson to announce today, according to Rivals list on announcements. Most of them are predicting USC. This one really touches a nerve. ROJO (Michigan-native) was a UM lock all year, has made several soft committments to UM players and coaches. Then with 1 week left he visits UF and is flown back by Meyer on a private jet. When he gets back home his mom breaks all communication with UM coaches. They wouldn't even take calls. UM was the only school to keep his schollie on the table after his injury. There is a lot of speculation of negative recruiting. This was the same way Meyer got Percy Harvin from USC. In the last few days before signing, USC coaches weren't allowed to talk to the kid. Meyer's class includes 7 players that originally committed elsewhere. What's goes around will come around at some point.

Yeah, Urban's good at getting other kids to drop commits with one school and join his. Then again, all I ever hear about is how Saban is stealing LSU commits, and how he's evil, a liar, Satan, scum, and so on. This experience in Tiger Country has made me start to dislike the Bayou Bengals.
Anyway, Alabama really only has two big four star guys on the list. The first is Sidell Corley, who I hear from a couple of my "sources" that LSU has a very good shot to get him. Don't be surprised to see him go to LSU. The second is Brandon Gibson, who I think is about 55/45 Bama with Auburn still in the hunt.
*Looks like my sources were right, Corley is said to have committed to LSU.

Ronald Johnson is from Muskegon, right? I go to school at Grand Valley State which is about 45 minutes from Muskegon, and he's supposed to announce today I think, I saw it on the news.

Rojo seems really confused about this whole situation.
The way things are going, I wouldn't count Ohio State out of it. I mean, I'm not holding my breath for it, but it doesn't seem like he has a sure number one.

ROJO is announcing at his church today. Time was pushed back from 2 to 3:30. MSU, OSU, USC, UF all in it. UM was considered a lock until Wednesday and now is out of it. UF just pulled a schollie from a 4-star cb this week so this might say something.
I think he's going to MSU. His brother will be there too and he will be close to family.

I'd be surprised to see him to go Ohio State, so it's basically a three school race.

I remember reading about Box way back in the pre-season, sounded like a good prospect.

Double post, but for a reason.
Spartan, ya'll are getting a hell of a fullback in Ben Herlocker. I've seen him play first hand (So has Usma), and he is a flat out beast.

It's official, Rojo has committed to USC.
And I'm pretty sure that I speak for Ohio State and Michigan fans when I say "Pete Carroll can go to hell".

There doesn't seem to be much honor in recruiting anymore it seems like. Such as the Mustain example, but you're dealing with 18-year olds. Minds can change at the drop of a hat and for sometimes no reason. Although, two years ago, Texas tried to swoop in after Chase Daniel after Ryan Perriloux switched to LSU (again, stole a Longhorn commit), and Mack tried to get Daniel. He basically gave him the finger and stuck with Mizzou.

I think that kid's commit to early. I think they should all have to wait until NSD or have an earlier signing period like basketball does. Just look at the SEC this year for teams stealing recruits. Florida did it to a lot of teams. Alabama got Luther Davis from LSU, and was hosting Rolando Melancon who is a Tennessee commit. Everyone is doing it.
Really I like the idea of having everyone just commit on NSD, but since the NCAA has no control over it, it won't matter. Recruiting is really becoming a dog eat dog business.

Thank you RoJo for letting me enjoy the fantastic work of Morgan Trent as a starter for another season. I saw him moving out of state all along. I think we had him until Christmas, then he started thinking otherwise. We still have a solid class and I guess stealing Donovan Warren from USC makes us even.

LSU signed Stefoin Francois today, big pick up. The thought is that him signing will sway other big names, Tolliver and McNight in particular. I still think LSU has a shot at the #1 class.
