Both universities demand very high GPA's and they are nearly identical now. Did I say Michigan didn't have higher standards? No. I said there simply isn't as big of a gap anymore. Ask anyone who works at either school. The admissions get tougher and tougher for both.

I have a sister who got denied at MSU but got into Michigan. Both have their strengths. UM has medical school, MSU has vet school. Both are hard as hell to get into. Saying that there is still a major gap is complete bias.

As for losing 6 games this year: I wouldn't be shocked because we lost an assload of talent. Important seniors moved on as did some juniors. That pussy Mallett left us high and dry at QB as well. So honestly, I'll take a 9-3 season in a rebuilding year which is A LOT more than you can say for MSU.

You can call yourself an elite program by consistently going undefeated or having only 1 or 2 losses. You have to win a National Championship more than once in 50+ years to be considered elite.
