If you've never seen me support them on this board, you must not read it enough. I suppose this was a fake rant? Every year we get a crushing loss and I become a pessimist. It happens. I support my team, but it's pretty damn painful sometime.

I was pleased with the 7-5 season, but I wasn't leaping around that we got to the Champs Sports Bowl. If you'd rather have 7-5 and the Champs Sports Bowl than 9-4 and a New Year's bowl, you must be nuts. It's all about expectations. If you take that part out of it, Michigan's season looks better than ours, no doubt. Just because Michigan is our rival doesn't mean I need to badmouth them at every opportunity. Is it illegal to say nice things about a democrat even though I side with the republicans? No! Is it illegal to say something nice about Michigan even though I'm a Spartan fan? No, it shouldn't be.

And they do it consistently. If that's not an elite program, then what is?
