Class of 2008 Recruiting

Ohio State picked up another committment, this time in the form of 4* DL Willie Mobley. He's listed as a DT by both Rivals and Scout but the Buckeye staff sees him as a DE.

We've only got about 2 or 3 schollies left this recruiting year. I'd say we finish it off with Terrelle Pryor, and possibly Isiah Pead (Depending on his grades). Then, we pack things up and gear up for the best class of Ohio defensive players in a good 10+ years in 09.

DJ Woods is visiting Mizzou on December 14th.

OSU is coming on strong to Shayne Hale, and he may be taking an official to tOSU this weekend.

His cousin committed to Pitt this weekend, and Shayne still has them on his list and the two are rumored to be a package deal.

yay Pryor's leader isn't OSU anymore. He's opened it up because he doesn't like Ohio State's offense, and Oregon and their super dope offense is now in the mix!

We're still in the lead, Oregon has just joined the mix. I don't get why he doesn't like our offense considering it changes year by year based on our personell.

Like I said, we're still in the lead. JT will definately talk to him about how our offense changes year by year based on our personell, and how our schemes would feature him proiminently. Pryor has also said that he doesn't want to go to college far from PA so his dad can go to his games, and he eliminated Florida on that basis, and Oregon is as far from PA as you can get in the continental U.S.

Marcus Robinson will most likely de-commit from Miami and go to LSU or USC.

Ohio State is most likely losing a 5-star committ from this class, in the form of ATH Devoe Torrence. Legal trouble just came up (No word as most Buckeye sites won't say anything about it, but from what I've seen it is somewhere in the category of rape).

First he committs to Nebraska, then their coach is fired. Now he commits to West Virginia, and RR leaves. Haha, this kid can't get a coach to stay.

He got one, then promptly committed to Nebraska the next day. Staff discovered he only wanted the tOSU offer to boost his offer sheet (Much like Sam McGuffie) and pulled it. When he decommitted from Nebraska he called tOSU and the staff pretty much told him he didn't have a schollie at tOSU.

I could actually see him ending up at Ann Arbor, though.

Yes, you totally can. DJ Woods is now a soft-verbal to WVU and his dad said "Do what Terrelle did and put Michigan on our list"

I think he'll go to Michigan anyways, but this re-opens the possibility of him picking Mizzou still. He was going to visit before he chose WVU. I still see him visiting here at the very least.

I don't understand that at all. Hell, I don't understand why that entire recuriting class wants to go to Thug U. It's been a sinking ship for years now and that's not going to change.
