I wouldn't be calling me a retard since you said that if YOU were a MICHIGAN fan, you would want Ferentz, whom you just admitted is a terrible coach. Sportsbuck, it was a JOKE! and so was the retard statement. You called me an idiot, so I called you a retard. But I don't see why Ferentz is such a HORRIBLE choice.

Sportsbuck, it was a JOKE! and so was the retard statement. You called me an idiot, so I called you a retard. But I don't see why Ferentz is such a HORRIBLE choice. Okay, okay, I didn't know you were joking. Let's take a look at his coaching history. Maine1990: 3-8 1991: 3-8 1992: 6-5 Iowa1999: 1-10 2000: 3-9 2001: 7-5 2002: 11-3 2003: 10-3 2004: 10-2 2005: 7-5 2006: 6-7 2007: 6-6 See what I mean about having a few good years, then a lot of decent ones? Hell, since he landed the nation's #8 recruiting class in 2005 he has gone 19-18. Overall, he is 73-70. He seems to be a master at generating average seasons, and he is the most overrated coach in America. Not to mentino that Lloyd Carr's retirment mostly stems from an inability to beat his arch-rival, and Ferentz is 3-6 against IOWA STATE.

I have no knowledge of who you guys are speaking of, but from what I just saw. I would not want that guy as a coach. Statistics don't lie my friends...

Another reason for you UM guys not to want Miles, the dude is the biggest retard known to man.
On TV today, he claimed that LSU should be in the BCS title game because of the fact that they are undefeated in regulation, since both of thier losses in overtime. Not only is that wrong to begin with (They actually have ten wins and two ties in overtime), but it is the stupidest argument I've ever heard to begin with. Last time I checked, overtime was decides who wins a game when it can't be settled in regulation.
Yet another SEC coach throwing himself in front of the media to get to a BCS title game.

It's not an unreasonable point though considering how gimmicky college football overtime is.
If LSU and Missouri played on a neutral field my money would definitely be on LSU. Same if the played WVU.

Not so sure about that. LSU and WVU might win, but you act like as if they'd run us off the field. MU vs. either LSU or WVU would be good, close games.

It's not an unreasonable point though considering how gimmicky college football overtime is. How is it gimmicky? It's a lot more fair than the NFL's system. If the game is tied after four quarters you go to overtime. If you are a good enough team you will win the game. If you aren't good enough and lack the mental toughness necessary to survive in overtime (Which is what LSU lacked in losses to Kentucky and Auburn in overtime) you will lose.

Picky Picky me. oh well I still want him. Retard or not I won't be mad that we signed him til he actually gets up here and messes up.

Its gimmicky because it is not a continuation of real football. Punting and the return game don't matter. A great defense loses it's importance because just one mistake and the other team has a TD. It's no longer about maintaining drives since you get the ball in FG range anyway. You have to go for two after the second OT, that isn't how football is played.

I agree with you about the ball position that is ridiculous to put it on the 25. They should push it back to at least midfield. Actually I think that the CFL has a pretty good OT system: -each gets one possesion -the quarter plays out like actual football, ie kickoffs, punting, etc. -play continues until the quarter (15 min) is done or both teams have had at least one possesion and the score is not tied.

That is definitely better than the current NFL and NCAA systems.

So what if neither team scores on their possesion? Because I don't think college football coaches want to settle for ties...

Don't know if you guys saw this but LSU granted Les Miles permission to talk to Michigan.
Yes! I hope Miles gets hired, he is... (Pretty much everything Bama has ever said about him)

Yeah, I'm pretty much going to be an Ohio State fan if that clown ends up at Michigan. This is coming from a guy who Michigan is one of the top 5 teams he roots for (don't really care for em a shit ton, but that sounds for something).
The more interesting question is now, assuming Miles goes to UM (which I'm sure he will), who will LSU get as a new head coach? I've seen two names thrown around a lot from LSU people, Nick Saban and Steve Spurrier. That my friends may be the most interesting coaching search of the year.
