In addition to the stuff Sportsbuck mentioned, I have a few of my own. I hate OSU for their players, their colors, their walking turd of a mascot and for all the band wagon fans who hopped aboard during the 2002 title run, turning them into pompous band-wagoners at that. That's why I hate OSU.

For those of you still wondering about why the hatred exists, next time your watching HBO, look for the documentary about the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry.

Which, I might add, is the only documentary ever done by HBO on colllege football, and it just happens to be on the rivalry voted by fans as the best in sports (It was even voted over Yankees-Red Sox).

Your point was trying to insinuate that we didn't know why we hated each other, yet I conveniently proved your point wrong by telling you why we hate each other.

but your point is erroneous (yah for big words). Basically what your saying is that you hate each other because of a war tha happened 200 years ago. Thats like me hating someone because my great great grandfather didn't like his great great grandfather. It's just stupid and your making yourself look stupid trying to defend your logic.

Honestly I dont care if you hate each other, actually I encourage it because it is what makes sports great, but it annoys me when people try to qualify their hate with some stupid reasoning. For instance, I hate Calgary. I have my reasons but mainly its because it is what is "expected" of me being from Edmonton. Just like you're "expected" to hate UM because you're from OSU not because of some war. I would rather you just admit you hate him because he is from UM not because of some retarded-ass war over what? Toledo? Give me a break.

And JTR the reasons you mentioned are nice and I'm not saying you can't have your hate for OSU, but if it were any other team would you hate their players, their colours, their mascot, and their fans. I doubt it.

The War 200 years ago started all the hate, but it was magnified by a million when we first met on a football field.

I'm not saying that's the only reason, which you would've understood if you had read my entire post instead of the first few paragraphs. I was just explaining the history behind the hatred, which began during the Toledo spat. That hatred was passed down through generations, then magnified when they met on the football field. It's been passed down and passed down now, and both fanbases have their different reasons for hatred, but the beginning of it all was the Toledo spat.

Yeah, I hate Michigan guys, because they are from the godforesaken state up north. There, happy? I actually said it.
